Why would anybody vote for a Democrat in this election?

Exactly. Without big business there wouldn't be anywhere near as large a market for the products and services of smaller businesses. Joe Biden and the Democrats think they can get all this extra money from the rich, but they won't get anywhere as much as they think and the long term consequences usually result in a slower, more sluggish economy with less opportunity for all.

And then there are those 87,000 new IRS employees that will be looking for ways to get more money from all of us.
I bet they don't go after Democrat Doners no matter how rich.

The rich should pay their taxes like everybody else should pay the taxes they owe. Keep the tax system fair and equitable for all and I guarantee you the rich will pay a lot more taxes than if you force them into finding creative ways to avoid paying excessive taxes.
A few long jail sentences will do just fine in making these asses pay their taxes/ That and a total reassessment of business laws and bury their asses if found guilty , way way to much hand holding for business, not even close to enough in the number of regulations to protect the people of this country. Like I said, without regulation big b would eat our children for the bottom line, It is way past time to play hardball with these Golden children of the right. Screw them. Increase their taxes massively. Cut the free ride.

So why is it that Rasmussen invariably gives Joe Biden his highest approval ratings in their polls? Gives the Democrats a higher rating on the generic ballot than most polling groups? Rasmussen is about as fair and equitable and honest as it gets in the polling business. You should appreciate them instead of letting your TDS or ultra-leftism color your judgment.
Like I said , I don't give a damn about any of your stupid, ridiculous points. Simple fact they are a arm of the hate party just as Fox news is. A complete reason why they both should be ignored.

Buzz off ,ya dam Red. You were worthless elsewhere as well as here.

I'll just say that makes zero sense and wish you a pleasant day.
To a Q anon MAGA maggot , I'm sure it doesn't make any sense. Tax the hell out of the wealthy, all the money needed is there. If they don't want to compete , they can leave but we have to write law that will make it that they will lose our market in their move. Fuck them. Take our market away and they will stay and pay what they are told to pay, That and long jail sentences for not paying is the way to go.

This is Mike Lee's position on Social Security. He in no way intends to yank Grandma's Social Security Check but if there is no reform of the system, it is not sustainable as it is.

From "On the Issues"--Mike Lee:
"Three entitlement programs--Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid--are on a course that is as disturbing as it is unsustainable. Through these programs, Congress has promised to provide roughly $50 trillion in "unfunded" benefits to Americans who are alive today--that is, benefits for which Congress lacks the financial means to pay. This is irresponsible. While current Social Security beneficiaries must be held harmless, there needs to be a systemic overhaul to these programs, lest they bankrupt the country. To do so, people will need to realize that the benefits those older generations have had, may not be available in the future. But to not overhaul these programs cannot be postponed or overlooked any longer like the problem is going to go away."

At other times he has joined with reformers who want to revamp the system to make it more secure for recipients and sustainable for all, i.e. everyone would contribute to and own their own social security account and health care needs. As it is now, a simple vote of Congress could do away with the whole thing--there is nothing in the Constitution to prevent them from doing that. Also if you drop dead the day you retire, you won't collect a penny of your social security. It belongs to the government even though you paid into it for 50 or more years. It won't go to your living spouse other than the part of it that might exceed his or hers. It won't go to your grown kids or grandchildren. Mike Lee and others' ideas would remedy that.

Mike Lee is among reformer Republicans who knows Congress can't just keep kicking these cans down the road for others to deal with. He sees his responsibility as an elected leader of the people to do the right thing and not what is just politically expedient or looks good in the newspaper.

You really don't understand that their master plan is to "privatize" Social Security and rob it blind. Keep in mind that all Social Security money comes from working people. Greedy eyes have been upon it for a long time.

Congress has been robbing Social Security blind for many decades now. There isn't a single dollar in the fund but just a pile of IOUs. The Democrats don't give a hoot whether any of us get Social Security--they're all millionaires, most many times over--and don't need Social Security. But they don't want anybody messing with their ability to use the funds for whatever insane spending bill they come up with that they hope will keep them in power.

That at least some members of Congress--and that would be zero Democrats--are looking at the obvious long term consequences and proposing reforms that would ensure Americans that the money they are being forced to contribute to the system will be there for them when they retire.

Please provide proof that Social Security has been robbed. Plus, Social Security earns interest on those funds.

The U.S. national debt is the sum of public debt that is held by other countries, the Federal Reserve, mutual funds, and other entities and individuals, as well as intragovernmental holdings held by Social Security, Military Retirement Fund, Medicare, and other retirement funds.

Many people believe that much of the U.S. national debt is owed to foreign countries like China and Japan, but the truth is that most of it is owed to Social Security and pension funds right here in the U.S. This means that U.S. citizens own most of the national debt.

Here you go along with a link explaining that the amount Social Security will owe seniors will exceed those IOUs within the next decade:

Say something that is true, I want to see if you are even capable of doing it.
