In a sense, what is implied in the thread's title is PRECISELY what right wingers on here are proposing. They all seem to agree that scamming the system (albeit, legally) in avoiding your tax responsibility is really not how this country can flourish economically......HOWEVER, they are willing to hire the "burglar" hoping that he can put an end to the burglaries.....

Sounds plausible????

NO !!!! The proposed taxation policies by Trump CLEARLY show that he not only would perpetuate the crooked system and if you take a look at his proposals you too will see the perpetuation of the old "trickle-down" bullshit that has been debunked since Ronnie Reagan's administration.

We don't need to hire Trump to stop the theft. We need to fire every politician who has put tax expenditures in the tax code.

And that is pretty much all of them.

The really funny part is that Republicans are the worst offenders.

We don't need Trump. We just need to ban 99.99% of all tax expenditures.

Even if that was Trump's plan, which it isn't, he would get nowhere without Congress's participation. The problem is that tax expenditures are every incumbent's bread and butter. They will give them up when you take them from their dead, cold hands.

Trump's economic package actually makes things worse. He will add 5 to 10 trillion dollars to the debt.

So much for the "hire a burglar" theory. You don't want this particular burglar anywhere near the national treasure.
