Wouldn't Texas and New Mexico be united?

I don't care about these lies. There have never been any cowboys in Northern Europe.

If you told me that they were Hungarians, then I could admit it.

In addition, the British are afraid of sunlight and heat, they would die there without air conditioning.

They are still dying there, even with air conditioners.
Stop being an ignorant fool

Texas was a Republic that got its independence from Mexico before joining the US.

One of the reasons why it became independent was because of the huge number of Americans that moved across the border into Texas.
Texas was annexed by the US.

Stop being an ignorant fool

Let's discuss this separately.

After living in California for more than thirty years... close to forty... I moved to Albuquerque for three years and fell in love. Unfortunately, my wife's past experiences growing up there (nothing criminal, just very bad) and my work moving to South Carolina conspired against me... I've only found mediocre Mexican food here so far... but there is hope! A guy from Hatch who has a west Texas BBQ joint just opened a New Mexican restaurant...
Ate at El Tecalote last week in Cam. Good tacos.

They are no longer possessions of Mexico and haven't been for over 150 years. They are also different as night and day politically. Texas is mostly conservative while NM has been historically liberal and democrat. The one thing you have right is that they both have large Hispanic populations.
I read somewhere that before Roe V. Wade New Mexico was the only (or one of the only) states to have no restrictions at all that Roe overturned.

Honestly, I chalked that up to the large Native American population and the white legislators being happy to have them kill their unborn.

I have invited you to not be an ignorant fool. I have given you historical studies. I cannot do more.

We're there Spanish Vacqueros in the southwest? Yes. But the first cowboys were Irish. The cowboy culture that you think is Hispanic isn't even Hispanic. It is mostly Cheyenne and Navajo. The rodeo has some Spanish influence but the contests are Commanche.

I shall not respond further until you stop being stupid.

Native Americans do not abort their children.

Closest to my old residence, second favorite on my list... though my number one closed its doors a few years back. Lupe's in Thousand Oaks...

Lupe and her 1956 Vette. She was a customer of mine and the food there was mucho delicioso.
I lived on Los Feliz Drive, across the street. FYI, she is a clinical psychologist.

Here she is.

Damned if you're not spot on.

Upon research, it seems that Native Americans are not pro-abortion, and have bitterly rejected suggestions from white pro-abortionist women that they use their tribal autonomy to get around state abortion laws, and turn profits similar to casino profits.

Native Americans are bitterly opposed to abortion. Tribal women were taken and forcibly aborted, then sterilized as part of the genocidal practice to wipe them out.

They will never agree to support abortion. If it were up to tribal leaders, abortion would be completely illegal, no exceptions.

Having said that, West Texas was very much like Eastern New Mexico.

Small world...

If I remember correctly, she never worked there, at least not during the years I ate there, the place was just named for her.

Damn, my family ate there every Friday for as long as I can remember. My dad took us kids there, I took my kids, my kids took their kids. It's a shame they couldn't keep it going...

I think that the ethnic diversity of the US is greatly exaggerated. In the south, 3-4 states are populated by half African Americans, the east coast by European colonists, in the West there are a few Japanese, and the main part is about the same as the Mexicans. It is, on the contrary, the most monolithic country in ethnic terms
That's...wrong. I assume you are a US citizen right?

Just outside Lubbock. 😁
A desert is defined as an area that receives less than 10 inches of rain per year. Lubbock and the surrounding area receives 18 inches and 10 inches of snow. The Sahara is in Africa.

I ate at Chef Burger across the street or at Danny's next door to T O Liquor.

Is that place still in business? I never ate there, Lupe's was across the street...

Did you grow up in the area as well?
Born in Ventura. Had an auto shop near Los Feliz and Skyline Dr. in the 80's.

Chef Burger is still there and it's not bad... Greasy stuff.
