Notice that there was no mention of WHICH laws would be broken, even after they were directly asked. This is corruption and abuse of power in broad daylight. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) have warned telecommunications companies against sharing information with the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the U.S. Capitol.

McCarthy and Greene on Tuesday both suggested that the companies would face repercussions for complying with the committee's request for data once Republicans are in control of the government. The committee asked 35 telecommunications and social media companies to supply it with the records on Monday.
Some of the requested records pertain to Greene and other Republican members of Congress who were involved in the January 6 "Stop the Steal" rally supporting former President Donald Trump's false claims that he "won" the 2020 election, according to CNN. Shortly after the rally, the Capitol was breached by rioters who claimed that Trump was a victim of election fraud.
Ray it is perfectly logical to assume that people pushing the big steal may have links to those who rioted on the 6th. It is naive of you to think otherwise. No doubt some of the stealers will be exonerated by the enquiry and they will welcome that.Most of the rioters were caught, being charged, or still in jail. There is absolutely no reason to suspect any member of Congress had anything to do with it. Nazis make shit up and then seek to find evidence of their lies like Russia collusion. We need to stop these costly political witch hunts. When people text many say personal things to loved ones they don't want the world to know about, or engage in discussions of personal finance. Arming the Communists with such information gives them the opportunity to blackmail other members of Congress.
If they really want to do shit like this, let them move to Cuba or North Korea and join their government that does this crap all the time.

Thats called obstruction of justice. Those records are coming, and there isnt thing one they can do about it.
