You cannot help the poor by giving more tax cuts to the rich

Yeah, poor Bush, he really got blamed for everything he did,...because everything he did was fucked up.

This is childishly hilarious!

In other words in liberalspeak, "It was OKAY when we criticized Bush, just not when you criticize Obama!" :eusa_snooty:

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Oh, you shouldn't criticize either one during a war, that is unpatriotic.

Oh nice try but liberals told us during the Bush admin it was "their patriotic duty" to criticze Bush and that "dissent was patriotic!"

Remember? I sure do!

Tea Party Samurai represents a miniscule part of America as emotionally disturbed as she. The GOP takes her vote and then ignores her and her kind. Not too worry, liberals or conservatives.

Samurai is here for grins and chuckles only.
Yeah, that explains why YOU add nothing but name calling. Liberals always were pathological when it came to projection.
You call names then jump on others for calling you out. You tell lies then mistakenly tell others they are liars. You call projection when you are projecting.

You are not a Republican conservative, merely a Far Righty Extremist Tea Party Fascist who makes us all laugh. Post on, dear. Oh, drop the hysteria.

You are simply a child seeking attention.

And a waste of my time. Go whine in the flame section.

Flat tax is fair. Bottom line, you make more, you pay more proportionally. Tax rates should name increase as income goes up. Simple math (25% of 100 dollars is 25 dollars and 25% of 1000 dollars is 250 dollars). Guy making a thousand dollars pays more...why doesn't that make sense?

I'm for a flat tax, myself. Countries that have gone to a flat tax seem to be doing quite well on it.

The only people it would put out of business here is IRS workers and tax lawyers.

I'm pretty good with that! :eusa_angel:

You call projection when you are projecting. Like now. You are deflecting. You act in a childish, hysterical way when you are corrected appropriately. You are a waste of all our time. You are merely a Far Righty Extremist Tea Party Fascist who is here for grins and chuckles.

Tax rates are needed to fix inequality. Ideally, everyone would work equally, be paid equally, and be taxed equally. But that's not the case. It's absurd to say that a CEO who makes a million dollars a year really works harder 20 times harder than a manual laborer who makes $50,000 a year. If you take a tenth of the CEO's salary, he's still going to make WAY more than enough to live a comfortable lifestyle, but if you take a tenth of the salary of guy who makes fifty thousand a year, he's going to have trouble making ends meet.

Taxes exist to promote equality. The government is the tool of the people, and exists only to serve them. (or at least it should) The resources the government devotes towards solving economical and social problems puts it in an ideal place to decide what is best for the equality of everyone.

Okay, either this guy is deliberately trolling, or he's serious.

I haven't decided which.

If he's serious, he reveals what liberalism, especially socialism, is all about.

It's to make everything "equal."

The only problem is, things aren't equal.

There are going to be people who are more talented, smarter, more capable.

You might be so beautiful, you are the right person to model these clothes. Someone else isn't right to be a model, but they may have the brains to be an electrical engineer.

You might draw well, while someone else cannot. He might write or speak well, while you cannot.

A society thrives when our talents are allowed to reach their full potential, and not held back in some skewed idea of "equality."

Every time a society, from the French Revolution, to the Bolcheviks has attempted to force people to be equal in what God made UNEQUAL (in that we are not cookie cutter identies. We each are different with different qualities and talents), the bodies start piling up.

Their system doesn't work. People do not fit into such a system, so they simply start killing the people who prove the system doesn't work!

Human nature is to attempt to reach your full potential.

A ditch digger may work harder than the CEO, but the CEO MAKES MORE MONEY FOR THE COMPANY than the ditch digger.

Who is going to employ more people? The ditch digger or the CEO?

Then liberals wonder why "experiments" in trying to make things more "equal" end in economic disaster.

So...the ditch digger deserves to suffer more than the CEO because he's a lesser person or something? That can't be right.

Are you 13 or something?

How much value to a company or even a society is the CEO compared to a ditch digger?

How many people does a ditch digger employ compared with the CEO?

How much education and hard work was it for the CEO to rise to that position, as compared with the ditch digger?

There is a value on every job. They are NOT the same. It is simplistic and infantile to not recognize this.

If you don't like this, don't seek to be a ditch digger. Work hard, get an education, and seek to rise to the level of the CEO.

But don't whine because the ditch digger isn't getting paid like the CEO. You don't know how much hard work the CEO put into rising to where he is. You just assume it's all easy out of your own ignorance.

And another in support of the subjective 'fairness' instead of equal treatment by government under law... the communal concept as well

And then spouting off about equality, as if it means equalizing outcome...

The only one there to solve your personal economic problems is you.. a little thing called personal responsibility for personal wants and needs

All deserve a life of dignity but not all deserve the same level of living.

A government aid recipient should not be able to purchase alcohol, cigarettes, higher grades of meat, candy, chips, etc, on the public dole. Their government shopping cards should be programmed to prevent those types of purchases.

Government meals at the public schools should be restricted to a high quality foods rich in protein, dairy, vegetables, grains, and fruits. By the end of the first week, the little darlings would be eating their full share rather than go hungry.

The system needs reform, not trashing.

"And then our system falls apart due to lack of funds... which is what you want. You want small government which is not able to govern."

What makes you think that "big" government is able to govern better than small government? I'm sorry, Steelplate but if you think that"big" government governs well then you must be living in a different country than I. Can you HONESTLY say that our government doesn't waste a good 40% of every dollar it collects? Can you HONESTLY say that we don't have departments and agencies that are redundant to the point of farce? Can you HONESTLY say that our educational system is better now that it is run by the Feds than it was when it was run locally?

What we need to do is take a meat cleaver to the Washington establishment. It's bloated, inefficient, corrupt, and totally out of touch. Do I want smaller government? Yes...very much so. The smaller the better.

so... you pick one sentence out of my post that you want to focus on... that's fine. Can I honestly say that they don't waste 40% of tax dollars collected? no... I can't honestly say they don't... the truth is... I don't know. Where are you getting this number from? Is it factual and provable, or is a number you pulled off the top of your head? Redundancy and overkill? oh yeah... we got that...I'll agree there. I have no... read ZERO problem with streamlining that kind of thing. I'm all for it. however... that's only one small part of what Conservatives are demanding.... they want to force this debt load onto us working class people as well. They want to break the backs of the people who have paid into Social Security and Medicare their entire working lives, and turn into a privatized system so that their irresponsible Billionaire buddies on Wall Street and the Health Insurance companies can get their hands on it. So then they in turn can gamble with that money in their NYC Casino, make huge profits off of it, and eventually lose it, like they have so many times in the past... and turn Medicare into a voucher system where the voucher doesn't cover the cost and take money out of the elderly on fixed incomes and insert it directly into the hands of Insurance Companies.

I am sorry... I know that Conservatives don't like "Socialist Programs" like SS and Medicare... but not everything needs privatized. SS and Medicare should very much be left alone and NOT be subject to the whims of Wall Street and Corporate America... They should be kept safe and sacrosanct.

Now, as far as our educational system... Once again... you cut it down to the local level... your local taxes are going to be so high, that you will wish you would have just shut your mouth about it. Do you have any idea what it costs to run a School District? You take that down to a local level and you will either A. Have a poor education to offer your communities' children... or B. Have taxes so high that no one can afford them.

Same goes for your fire protection, your police force, the people that take care of your roads and bridges. You guys seem to have this simplistic view of taxation and only seem to focus on the Federal Income Tax... but that Federal Income tax helps every State in the Union and every Community in each state.

do I think things need streamlined, unnecessary program cut or eliminated and more of an eye towards fiscal efficiency? Absolutely. But I don't believe in the extremism that is coming from the right.

One thing that gets a lot of Criticism from the right is the idea that there is a segment of our population that "gets something for nothing". yes... I agree. It's a valid gripe. That's why I am all for a "working" welfare system. If you need Welfare, you will work for you benefits. Obviously... People with severe handicaps would be exempt... but if you can work, you will work. I am of the feeling that part of the problem with our current welfare system is that people get too comfortable with it.. so comfortable to the point where they fall into the mindset similar to that of say.... an abused wife. Now hear me out a second... An abused wife...actually spouse, not just wife... will tend to stay in that shitty relationship because the fear of the unknown is more frightening to them than the familiarity of the "devil they know".

Have you ever been in a relationship where your spouse, or "significant other" puts you down all the time, criticizes you continually, makes you feel like shit for every imagined infraction? If you get told you're a loser and a piece of shit enough times... sooner or later you start to believe it. I think the same thing happens to most people that are on Public Assistance for a long time. Yes... I do believe that there are some scumbags who take the taxpayers' money and pop out kids, and all the rest of what I hear from Conservatives... I do believe that there are people like that... but I think that number is pretty small. Most of the rest of aren't that way... they need a sense of empowerment. Working does that. I feel that a good welfare program should not only save our citizens and their families from starving when they fall on rough times... but also should bring value back to the taxpayer in the form of Service for Benefits for as long as they are on the program. Because, let's face it... if they have to work anyway, I am sure that they won't stay on it long term. Plus... it will give these folk a reference for jobs they apply for. Employers will have a supervisor they can call and get an honest answer when they ask "what kind of worker is this person?".

Oh... By the way... There is another way that a welfare recipient could get benefits and not work.... Go to School on their own dime. College, Trade School, etc... If they go to school... they can still get benefits until they graduate(Bachelor's degree MAX). Two stipulations... One... they must pay for that education out of their own pockets(Student Loans), Two... they must maintain a 2.5 GPA.

I think this is a reasonable approach for people who fall on rough times and need to take care of their families till they get on their feet. Something similar should be in effect for Unemployment Compensation.

I can't justify taxing one person more than another, or only some people paying taxes. Everybody should be taxed, and taxed the same amount.

Taxes in proportion to what you make fairly is the best option.

No it isn't. That is not equality in taxation. Why should I pay more taxes than a homeless can man? Everybody should pay the same amount that the poorest among us can pay,...that is equality and fair.

I am a believer in a flat tax. But I don't know if you are aware or not the top 1% of our nations wealthiest own 51% of our countries total wealth. When you get to this level of money than more than likely they are so rich from ripping of the common people. It would be asking them to give back some of what they stole.

And the liberals fall silent. Once again, all their rhetoric destroyed by fact. Aw!

Many indeed are struck in awe by the delusion of Tea Party Samurai Fascist Girl Warrior of the far crazy right. I am quite sure the local GOP chair tells her folks, "Get her vote then turn her silly ass out into the street."

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

What is "fair"?

Let's start with a premise: Taxes are a pain.
Add to that another premise: Taxes are needed.
We've arrived at taxes being a "needed pain"
Keep going. We ought to exact the same amount of pain from everyone.

Ok. There you go. That's progressive taxation in a nutshell.

50$ for a homeless man, who makes 100$ month (let's say) is a lot more painful than to a rich man who makes $50,000 a month.

Let's exact the same level of pain from everyone.

Is profit evil? Nope. I love me some profit. I love having money to save/splurge on. But with more money comes more opportunity. With more opportunity comes the means of capitalizing on things that people without capital can't. It's an advantage. An advantage achieved through hard work of course, but an advantage nonetheless.

You want to talk about being fair? The leverage that someone gets because they were born to money or can bring pressure to bear on others (me being in both categories mind you) isn't fair. But life isn't fair.

So we're back to helping the poor through the government because life isn't fair.

Taxes in proportion to what you make fairly is the best option.

This class envy stuff gets me.

Stole? Stole from whom? YOU?

This bullcrap that getting PAID to do your job is "stealing" from other people.

You get your degree, you bust your butt to make something of yourself, you finally make it, and what does a bunch of losers say that expect everyone else to support them? YOU stole that money from them!

It's all about greed. Making up a justification for why you are entitled to the earnings of others.

You might as well call it theft, because that is what it boils down to.

Liberals want to take money that belongs to others. That is the purest definition of "wealth distribution."

teapartysamuraifascist is certainly boring.

I heard that she got pulled over last week, driving by herself. The officer comes up and hears voices coming from the car. One of them insistently demands, "Shut up, I will talk to him."
