Let's do some basic math, although this will probably be beyond your level of comprehension. In the US, there are approximately 150 to 160 million who are employed. Of those, 8% are government employees. If every single one of them was a liberal, there would still be more liberals working in the private sector than there are working for the government. 400 people control HALF the wealth in this country.

What is more important, that American children get an education, that our people get healthcare, that roads and bridges get fixed, that advanced materials research be done, that our military be supplied with the best equipment, that old people be taken care of, that our debt be paid down, that food and water be safe, that our environment be clean, or that a billionaire gets a new yacht?

Our children can get an education without spending a dime. All they need to do is read and experiment.

People can get healthcare by paying for it. After all, the only person responsible for taking care of your body is yourself.

Roads and bridges can get fixed without taking money from one group to give to another. In fact, since we all use these things, we should all be paying our fair share. Why should someone who is poor or rich be treated differently?

Any sort of research that is going to be profitable to mankind will be conducted by the Private sector.

The military can be funded by everyone sharing the burden equally. Not taking from one group to give to another.

Old people aren't incompetant. They don't need us babysitting them. They can take care of themselves. They've done it for 40+ years already. And if they need assistance, that is what children are for. And grandchildren. And Churches. and Private charities. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to be dependent on the Federal Government for their support.

Our debt wouldn't be a problem if you stopped spending and burdening the American people with heavy taxes to allow politicians to be corrupt. It's time we end that. But for some reason you oppose every action taken to get ourselves out of debt. Why?

Why should people without kids have to pay more in taxes when it's the people with kids who use more government services?
