Trump had a lot of help from the Republican Party's poisoning the well against Hillary Clinton with their constant lies about Benghazi, emails, Judicial Watch's obsession with pursuing the Clintons, using funding from the Koch Brothers, Republicans have been going after the Clintons for nearly 30 years now, and they've come up empty on every score.

But the dirty campaign waged by Trump included many illegal practices intended to lie to and deceive the American public, and this idea that someone can "steal" an election, and then keep to profit from their illegal attack on the American people, is ludicrous.

Democrats are cringing because they want to govern. They have an good agenda to put forward that will genuinely help the American people, protect future elections from cheating and voter suppression - something that the Republicans have done precious little about other than to cheat and suppress the popular vote.

Republicans have been steadfastly refusing to do ANYTHING about the illegal immigrant problem since Reagan was the President. Democrats have been pro-active in pushing immigration reform, and even for the past two years when they had the The White House, The House, and the Senate, and the White House and they've done done nothing about immigration, except build concentration camps on the border to hold asylum seekers.

Trump stole the Presidency, and all of the USA is waking up to the depths of Trumps criminal behaviour, both past and present. Prominent Republicans are turning on Trump and saying "No one is above the law".

A friend of mine with connections in Washington had a private dinner with a top ranking Republican senator shortly after Trump was elected. At that time, the senator told him that Republicans were going to play along with Trump, control his excesses, and let him hang himself, while they do the stuff they really want (tax cuts and Supreme Court). When, not if, he's caught, they'll turn on him and turf him out. The original plan was to do this before the Mid-Terms so that Republicans could be seen as "saving" the nation from the criminal Trump, and asking the American public to reward them and let them keep the House and Senate.

The timing is off, and it's too late to save the Mid-Terms, and now both the Dems and the Republicans, neither of whom really want to impeach the President, but as his name, and those of his family, keep coming up in the plea filings of his closest advisors and associates, showing Trump involved in a complex conspiracy to deceive the American public about information which was relevant to his candidacy.
