The first thing I would do is recognize that it wouldn't be wise for me to have complete power and domination over an entire nation. So ... I would seek out intelligent, charitable, conservative, Christian folks and try to create a government like our founding fathers intended our nation to have.

My think tank would study in depth the Magna Carta; the Constitution of the old USA; and the Bible and come up with a document based on those three. We would create a true system of checks and balances with a New Testament flavor to it.

Yeah. My new country would require (mandatory) gun safety training to be taught in all public schools. Target shooting would be offered as an optional class for extra credit. I would strongly recommend that ALL good and decent citizens of the New USA carry a gun for self protection. Folks who think guns are icky could be deported to the nation of their choice if they squawked too much about them.
