Actually, in 2015 there were 9,616 gun murders.....as found in the FBI table 8 on homicide......of those murders, 70-80% of the victims were criminals engaged in criminal activity or targeted by other criminals ........that leaves about just about 1,500 or so completely innocent victims of gun murder....and of those, many are family and friends of the criminals caught in the crossfire...

So, genius.......we have about 1,500 actual innocent people murdered with guns in this country....a country of close to 320 million people......the rest are suicides.....and accidents....gun suicides in 2015 from the CDC were about 22,000 and those do not count...since guns do not drive suicide, since Japan, South Korea and many countries in Europle...all with extreme gun control, have higher suicide levels than we do....
