Michigan only "requests" voter ID...it's not required. I was asked to show mine. Obama won because of the majority in the Detroit area voted for him....i heard that area never asks for ID. Doesn't surprise me. If you looked at Michigan's map on election night, almost the entire state was red, with a big blotch of blue all around Detroit!

The rural areas of few people vote for Romney, and in the urban areas where people actually live, they vote for Obama.

In 08, McCain got blanked in 57 precincts. Bush (not sure if it was 00 or 04) got blanked in 4 precincts. Some precincts have 633 voters or about the size of a senior class in a medium sized high school.

I live in Mexico. I have oodles of money in the bank... I have a navy retirement... I have another public utility retirement... I have social security... my home here is all paid for... and gas in Mexico is dirt cheap. The only worry I have in the world is whether or not I remembered to turn the pool heater on or not.
