On a hill
We have watched a number of episodes of this show.
If you are not familiar with it, it is actual cases showing interviews etc. as homicide detectives solve the crime.
But the truly remarkable part - is often the last few seconds as you learn what sentence the murderers got for killing someone. Take that with the first time you are introduced with the guilty party when they reveal their LONG rap sheet and multiple convictions.
America's gun violence is on play in this show in every episode. And it isn't gun control.
Over and over people with a long history of crimes, often violent crimes, continuously are re-released time and again until eventually - they kill someone. Some of them have actually killed before!!

Take the last episode.
Three men get in an argument, two of the men go get guns and blast the hell out of the third man. One armed with a shotgun, the other with an AK 47.
Wanna wager on what sentencing they received?? One man was convicted 20 years the other... 10 years.
Both are eligible for parol. The man who was sentenced to 10 years is only 19 years old. He will be out at the LATEST at 29. The man they murdered had 3 children.

This happens more often than you can imagine.
