Not that should shock anyone but once obiecare becomes national single payer government healthcare we can all live under the same expectations as our Vet's. This is obiecare on a smaller yet still out of control scale, just imagine how bad it can get!

Lessons of the VA Scandal | National Review Online

Are there lessons in the VA scandal for the rest of us if Obamacare survives and even expands?

And the VA has many more successes than failures.

The great thing is that we can affect the government's health care.

We can't touch the insurance companies.

So make the smart pick.

Well, since the single payer, universal health care systems are doing better on costs and results than ours has, I think that we will eventually get rid of the dinosaurs and go to a similiar system.

That's not a preview. It's not funded or supported correctly.

Funding isn't the problem, there are billions spent. I think the words you are looking for are managed and distributed. Neither of which seems to be going well. But you don't worry yourself about that, the funding is being spent in bonuses for such a fine job not being managed or distributed well.

But then again that's just government for you.

And that example is where?

That's the excuse liberals always use for the failures. Whenever a government program doesn't produce the promised results, what do they say? We need to spend even more!

Vets earned their medical care but still get crapped on, so imagine the GOV treating you average Joe Schmoe.....

Stimulate the right nerve and the knee will jerk, even amongst the brain dead.

Spoken like a true boot-licking statist.

Are you still claiming to be a Republican and a "true conservative," Fakey?

Have you resolved your incontinence issue yet?

We know that unnamed (so far) federal bureaucrats issued orders to the VA for doctors to intentionally delay care for certain Veterans and we know that at least in West. Va. some Veterans committed suicide and others died and the (unnamed bureaucrats) awarded bonuses to the federal workers who saved money. The Orwellian concept will no doubt spread to Obamacare where federal workers will be awarded bonuses based on the number of people who die before federal dollars are wasted on their care.

In socialized medical plans, the GOV pays per patient so it is in the interest of the hospital to fake numbers and get patients in/out with a so-called doctor in 15 minutes to get 8 people per hour for that $$$$$.
