Before becoming an Independent, I had the unique experience of hearing two church members upstairs loudly proclaiming that if a black person ever walked into their church they would quit the Church. They were prominent Democrats, and that little discussion made me very unhappy because even at a young age I respected justice for all, and the same church taught me the song "Jesus Loves the Little Children, Red and Yellow Black and White, they are precious in his sight,"

I decided then and there I would NEVER be a Democrat with all that racial hatred coming from their tribe, and that that hatred had penetrated the walls of the church that was part of my family from the time they landed on Plymouth Rock.

When I began college, I decided to vote Independent. That changed years later. I can understand that only a conversation of two hateful people can change a young mind about politics. I was against racial hatred, whether that was good or bad. And in my life, Democrats were suspect after I heard those two racists carrying on in a church that supported tolerance.

You speak about hypocrisy. Politicians claim they are "transparent." Then along comes the House Speaker and her committee that determined it would railroad in a plethora of laws pleasing and favoring only members of the Democrat Party. And I watched her lock out ALL Republicans from her meetings with chairpersons in the House, and I watched Democrat candidates claimed "transparency," one and all. That was not only hypocracy, one of the Democrat chairpersons instructed her followers and employees to stalk Trump staff members, getting in their face and destroying their right to privacy by screaming them down in public places, restaurants, meetingrooms, anywhere they could scream inananities and even Deep State prevarications against them.

You have your nerve blaming only the right for "hypocrisy." I've rubbed elbows with state senators and representatives in two states, and I have personal knowledge of vast tolerance, cooperation, friendliness, and love for family, and constituent content based on what the people want including all their state's voters. The ones I knew had no history of shunning anyone who knocked on their Washington DC homes/apartments the fairness and kindness it takes to listen to all sides of an issue, taking time to review laws on the books, and whether it would benefit all or just a few. The Republicans in office I know have a "what's best for the most" criteria base with due respect to a healthy attitude of doing the right thing and making good things happen for everyone, not just a few.
