A word from the wise,, take heed for you know not what you started

A marriage is defined as "A holy union between one man and one woman."

Men or women "marrying" each other is not a marriage in the eyes of God. It is an aberration and a sin.

In the eyes of "who's GOD?"

Is the baker allowed to discriminate on the basis of race, or color?
.

I don't think marriage is any of the government's business, but they didn't stop there.
If people want to be left alone to attend to their own affairs ... Then they need to leave other people alone.

Address the point and quit pretending you can twist it into bullshit.

.

And they had every right to say "nope, not baking that"
.

Which is as fine with me as not telling someone they can't get married.
If they want to take them to court for it and get the government involved in either case ... They are just messing with other people.

Race and color are natural human characteristics. Wanting to marry someone of your own gender is more of a sexual dysfunction, which isn't really protected by law.

Glad I could straighten that out for you. You're welcome.

We do not base the laws of our country on the words of a ancient religious text. Nobody gives a fuck if it is a sin or not. They are free to be married because we are not a theocracy.
The GOD of Moses, was spiteful and vengeful. The GOD of Jesus, was loving and accepting. As if GOD saw that giving man guidance without wisdom didn't work, and so he changed the rules.

Yet people still want to cling to the old ways.

Same God in both cases, in fact Jesus is the God in both cases.

The baker has every right to refuse to make a cake with a mix of chocolate and vanilla frosting.

But he can't refuse to sell to people who are a mix of chocolate and vanilla frosting.

I'm a white traditionally married Christian male who would support getting rid of the word "marriage" altogether. Problem solved.

He should be able to. The constitution puts that restriction only on the Govt.

There is only one God. The God of Abraham and Moses. The God who loved you so much that He sent His only begotten son to die on the cross for your sins.
And his only son told a completely different story. Whereas his father was vengeful and vindictive, Jesus was loving and accepting.

So do you go by the old teachings, or the new teachings?

Jesus said that He didn't come to do away with the Old Testament. He came to fulfill it.

Matthew 5:17.
