But what I'm responding to is your apparent misconception that something isn't a right unless it's specifically called out as such in the Constitution. The right to freedom of movement, for example, is so basic that the founders saw no need to include it as a line item. Likewise with the freedom to breath, live, work, etc, etc...

The Court has already signed off on the power of the federal government to infringe our freedom of movement without due process, why would gun rights be any different?
