If you want to complain about the length of time it takes to count votes in a state..go see the legislatures.
In PA's case, you can march straight to the Republicans. They're the ones that passed legislation that didn't allow the counting of votes before election day.

Vote fabrication is big here in Pa. Plenty of it happened in Northampton and Lehigh counties back in 20. Someone even voted a write in ballot for my 90 year old mother, probably thinking she wasn't going to vote. It took over an hour at the polls until my mother was finally allowed to vote. Democrats have been pulling this kind of shit for decades and it only seems to get worse as time goes by. So don't ever buy the fair election BS you get from Democrats.

This is not "other nations". It is the USA. Each state has adopted laws in which they will only count the mail in ballots starting on the day of the election and not when they receive them.

And then, there are also the absentee ballots from the military who are posted outside of the US. They also get counted afterwards.


There are not enough people hired to count ALL of the Millions of votes on the same day.


You know that. It has been that way for a few elections now.

So, if they can count votes within a day and finish up, what exactly does 'waiting until election day to count the votes mean? We are not talking about counting the entirety of the country. We are talking about counting precincts and passing that total to a centralized location to be added to an overall total.

The legislation you mention does nothing to interfere with that and the process can still be accomplished before the opening of business the next day.

But the statement made one thing very clear: “There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised.”

Or as Chris Krebs, the head of CISA, put it: “TLDR: America, we have confidence in the security of your vote, you should, too.”

Course it does. Instead of just dealing with the walk-in voting count, you now have to count the mail in votes that have been sitting there, sometimes for weeks.
Again, most vote counting does not start until AFTER the polls close. Even though the law says it can begin when the polls open.
