Nope, KKK was formed in 1865, by confederates. By southern democrats.
Sure, there were some democrats in the north that opposed JC, but you can't claim there were all against since democrats of the reconstruction period called themselves "white man party".
It was democrats who signed CRA, the same one who opposed every CRA version before that one that was voted for by republicans with most democrats voting against it.
You can be selective in your half truths, but whole truth will come out sooner or later.
