A little history for you dummy....10 years after the peak before the Bush recession the DJI had improved by more than 63% to where it was when it started, the S&P was up 64%. Even if you did not buy an more shares while it was really fucking low you still were fine 10 years later. But those that bought when the market was done make out like madmen.
