If millions and millions of people are being brainwashed by lies, that probably tells you a lot about the people and culture from which they came.

Of course, that's not true. People aren't that stupid. That's why diasporas develop all around the world. People immigrate to where they think they can get a better life, based in large part on what people from their own culture tell them. And the general movement of people is to the West.

Cultural relativism is akin to saying that a culture that values killing it's own people while dancing around a headless chicken and bathing in fecal matter is just as advanced as western culture because who are you to judge? Perhaps they like to kill people and bathe in poo? Who are you to judge? This comes from the theory of cultural Marxism so as to give leftists an excuse to criticize the expansion of western culture while denying that the spread of wealth, prosperity, and technology is necessarily a good thing. That way they can praise the failed ideas of socialism/communism without having to provide a moral justification for adopting their failures.
