I have 2 questions for you

1. Was Trump a dictator in his first stint as President? (if he was why isnt he still dictator of the US?)

2. Why would anyone believe he would be one in his second term assuming he wins one?

There were numerous guardrails that checked Trump’s worse instincts and decisions.

We just learned from Barr that Trump often “mused” about executing political opponents and leakers and was ignored.

His musing to call up 10,000 NG forces to protect “his people” on Jan 6 were ignored.

And we all saw the attempt to retain power after he was voted out.

Those guardrails would not be in place if he were elected again. There would be no more “adults in the room”.

He would be surrounded by the likes of Steven Miller and Kash Patel and the clowns that came up with the fake electors scheme

And he would legally be precluded from being elected a third time.

Which means he would face no consequences for anything because clearly the GOP would block any Impeachment attempt
