Perhaps the key here is to redefine merit. Along with a respectable GPA I suppose it is a good idea to look at social involvement and giving back.... 1. What relevance does this have to do with our previous conversation? You admitted that you thought East Indian IQs improved from having been in America. Logically that should lead you to conclude that IQs are largely correlated to environment rather than racial or regional genes since traveling across the ocean or being born across the ocean wouldn't change genes.

2. When you refer to American Indians are you referring to East Indians born in America or people indigenous to the American continent? If the latter why would you refer to them as American Indians when they have no connection to the country of India?
