It would drop costs a lot for the citizen/taxpayer. The police would be a hybrid of cop/security and the fire could be a combination of paid/volunteer. If a neighborhood wanted any of the protection, they would pay for it.

The way things are now. Near everything is a can't win proposition. The nation is controlled by the the media, the entertainers, the elitists, the educators and the men and women who control much of the world's wealth. That is quite a mountain to climb. It is not just the left involved. A lot of people for them to fail have to get together near the same time to defend the territory. That does not seem likely. We can march on though.
