For starters, you confuse "income" with "wealth." They arent synonyms.
Second, in a place like NYC 100k wont get you very far. Income taxes will take nearly 60% of that. Cost of living is high. If you send a kid to private school you're pretty much way down the socio economic scale.
Finally just because someone has an income of 100k one year doesnt mean much. I had an income of more than that one year and was in the top 10% of earners. But that was because I sold a building i had owned a long time and had cap gains. The next year I was in the bottom.

I'm not confusing anything. You said "you consider and income of $00,000 to be wealthy". Nothing in there about wealth. The average American income is $52,000. $100,000 is almost twice that. And a survey down here showed that in real terms average incomes are brought UP by the earnings of the wealthy - ie , you take the uber rich's incomes out of the equation and the average income declines markedly.

The poor are barely surviving. On minimum wage jobs and jobs < barely above that > a person cannot survive in modern day America and MUST RELY on TAXPAYER SUPPORT in the form of welfare and aid to dependent children.

Society doesn't pay people first of all, employers pay people. Secondly, you don't get paid by how hard you work, you get paid by how much you can produce for your company. If you produce little, you get paid little. If you produce a lot, you get paid a lot.

You liberals live in this world where you think our country is one giant commune. In a commune, people do as they wish. Some just stay in the commune and smoke pot. Others stay in the commune and have children. Others go out and get money or supplies for the commune in which to operate. But eventually, the people bringing in the money to the commune stop, and that's why we don't have communes anymore: they failed.

People don't "receive" a better life than others, they make a better life than others. Big difference. Just like people make a crappy life for themselves. It's really up to the individual. We don't stand in a government line and get picked who is rich and who is poor. That's just a liberal hallucination. And why should taxpayers be obligated to support the children of others? If you can't afford children, don't have them. It's optional.

But if you ever see a guy go into your garage and steal your children's bikes, or your electric saw, or your lawnmower, don't cry like a 3 year old to the police. Just let them take your belongings because obviously, they need your property more than you do.
