Biden gas prices at $5.39.

Why don’t you point out that the OP is quoting the price of High Test Gas in the most expensive state and claiming that is the Biden price for gas.

Deceptive?
Why aren't you intelligent enough to read charts and data links ?
Why don't you acknowledge that it is Democrat dominated Executive along with Democrat dominated Legislative/Congress that set the increasingly higher taxes and regulations to discourage petroleum usage and compel more expensive and environmentally damaging alternatives?

Disingenuous????

and what does that have to do with the price of Premium Gas in Washington?
Taxes, State and Federal are the major component of the price of motor fuels, gasoline and diesel.
Only a few years ago, diesel used to be ten-twenty cents less than gasoline, now it's about ten-twenty cents more. The downside is how much of motor transport, tractor-trailer semis, etc. haul most of the goods to market. Increased fuel costs carry over to prices on the shelf.

You being a Leftist and Democrat, guess we can't expect you to understand and grasp basic economics.

Add to state and federal taxes, WA governor Inslee's carbon credits to that. Those are the major reason for WA having the highest fuel prices in the nation. There is approx. 30 miles between Spokane, WA and Coeur d'Alene, ID and fuel prices run seventy cents to $1 more in WA than ID. Currently, diesel is running about a nickel less than regular gas. in both states.

$3.70 in Twin Falls Idaho--I suspect that the lack of high gas taxes is responsible~

Anecdotally, the lines of cars with Oregon and Washington plates lined up at Idaho border gas stations tells the story...for me, anyway.

Same thing happens around here, those of us from Illinois that live close to Missouri try to always fill up "over the river"

Which is 100% not the purpose of the strategic reserves. And when he finally starts to fill it again, it will cause gas prices to rise.
Correct it is 50% of the purpose.

The Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR), the world's largest supply of emergency crude oil was established primarily to
1. reduce the impact of disruptions in supplies of petroleum products
2. and to carry out obligations of the United States under the international energy program.

You did hear about that war with Russia and Ukraine did you not?

It is.

The ten states with the highest gas taxes in 2023 are Pennsylvania ($0.61), California ($0.54), Washington ($0.49), Maryland ($0.43), Illinois ($0.42), New Jersey ($0.42), North Carolina ($0.41), Ohio ($0.39), Oregon ($0.38), and West Virginia ($0.37).

So he could sell them to China. Read about it all right here.
sure, why not. They were driving the demand up, Russia was not supplying, sell it to China. Look man, oil is traded Globally, do you get it?
If China wants to bid it up to 500 a barrel, they could. Joe sold it to ease the demand and help keep prices from going way up.
Good job Joe!

Yeah, moron, now look at the rest of it. Eighteen point four cents in federal tax and 46 CENTS in CO2 emissions tax per gallon. That adds up to $1.10 in taxes and fees per gallon--more than 20% of the cost of a gallon average in the lowest priced areas of the state. Try again.

You're a moron, dude. What don't you understand about "strategic reserves." You don't sell fuel to your enemy. If you were ever in the military, it is probably the reason that it is failing miserably--FROM THE TOP DOWN.

State taxes in WA are 49.4 cents gas tax and 46 cents CO2 emissions tax for a total in STATE taxes of 95 cents.

Biden blunders, Democrats scream PUTIN!!!!!
It is Putin. Open your eyes.

Global oil prices rose to above $100 a barrel after Russia launched an invasion of Ukraine, hitting triple digits for the first time since 2014.
So yeah, there you go.
