Biden had 8 million dollars worth of reasons to disclose to a civilian classified documents.

Yeah, my bad. I just meant he declined to charge as referenced here on page 1.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY We conclude that no criminal charges are warranted in this matter.1 We would reach the same conclusion even if Department of Justice policy did not foreclose criminal charges against a sitting president.

I assure you it wasn't my intent to be dishonest. It was just poor wording on my part.

Sorry about that.

Here are some.

Page 243.

Biden was mistaken in his legal judgment is not enough to prove he acted willfully, which requires intent to do something the law forbids. 924 The defense will buttress these claims by contending that other credible authorities, including at least one former president and the Department of Justice, also have concluded that a former president may keep handwritten notes even if they contain classified information.

Page 239

That Mr. Biden was mistaken in his legal judgment is not enough to prove he acted willfully, which requires intent to do something the law forbids.

Page 242

We also believe some of the same evidence that supports reasonable doubt for the classified Afghanistan documents also supports reasonable doubt for the notebooks, including Mr. Biden's cooperation with the investigation, his diminished faculties in advancing age, and his sympathetic demeanor. These factors likely make it difficult for jurors to conclude he had criminal intent. Finally, factors likely make it difficult for jurors to conclude he had criminal intent.

In addition. Mr. Biden's memory was significantly limited, both during his recorded interviews with the ghostwriter in 2017, and in his interview with our office in 2023. And his cooperation with our investigation, including by reporting to the government that the Afghanistan documents were in his Delaware garage, will likely convince some jurors that he made an innocent mistake, rather than acting willfully-that is, with intent to break the law-as the statute requires. his cooperation with our investigation, including by reporting to the government that the Afghanistan documents were in his Delaware garage, will likely convince some jurors that he made an innocent mistake, rather than acting willfully-that is, with intent to break the law-as the statute requires

Biden did have intent to break the law. As both a senator and VP, he knew the law and policy regarding classified documents.

18 U.S. Code § 1924

(a)
Whoever, being an officer, employee, contractor, or consultant of the United States, and, by virtue of his office, employment, position, or contract, becomes possessed of documents or materials containing classified information of the United States, knowingly removes such documents or materials without authority and with the intent to retain such documents or materials at an unauthorized location shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for not more than five years, or both.

Biden had stolen documents for nearly a decade. “Intent to retain” is abundantly clear.

In July of 2023, while the media was focussed on Donald Trump's indictments, Trump quietly filed an amendment to his 2021 income taxes, citing millions of dollars which flowed to his personal accounts from off shore entities, and paid a PERSONAL income tax of $9 MILLION dollars on the money he received.

Thanks for the report of an honest taxpayer.

It’s a cop out, claiming his mental health is a reason not to prosecute us a cop out
Wrong.
That is not factual. Biden was not charged because he cooperated fully with the recovery of the materials as opposed to Trump who did just the opposite.
If you're going to just make shit up at least make it believable and hard to fact check by reading a transcript from a congressional hearing that freaking took place YESTERDAY.

“Most notably, after being given multiple chances to return classified documents and avoid prosecution, Mr. Trump allegedly did the opposite,” the report said. “According to the indictment, he not only refused to return the documents for months, but he also obstructed justice by enlisting others to destroy evidence and then to lie about it.”

The report compared Trump’s alleged behavior with Biden’s, laying out the ways the president cooperated with the special counsel throughout the course of the investigation.

“In contrast, Mr. Biden alerted authorities, turned in classified documents to the National Archives and the Department of Justice in 2022 and 2023, consented to the search of multiple locations including his homes, permitted the seizure and review of handwritten notebooks he believed to be his personal property, and in numerous other ways cooperated with the investigation.

Exactly what you were told about Trump. Trump has not been convicted of any crimes. He did not intend to commit any.
According to the indictments he did intend to obstruct justice multiple times and he intended to make false statements to investigators ...among other things.

I don't believe any of the document charges against Trump are for having the documents...except the espionage act one which is a whole different animal from classified docs.

From your post.

"...knowingly removes such documents or materials without authority and with the intent to retain..."

Oh really? Dates of his conviction?
Coming soon.
As for now do you need the dates of his charges?
My how you MAGAt Trumptards love to move that goalpost don'f you?
Less than a year ago you were whining "name me ONE crime Trump has been charged with....just ONE!"
As if you actually had some kind of standards or something.
But now less than a year later the refrain has morphed into "name me ONE conviction!"
Lmao!
And of course this time less than a year from niw, once the convictions have come in, then the goalpost will (of course) be moved again.
You'll all be whining that every single conviction doesn't count/isn't real because "they were just the result of lib-rul/activist/Trump hating juries & judges!"

That's entirely different than saying he's unable to stand trial.

Either you're stupid or a liar.
No, it isn't.
There were a lot of reasons which varied depending on what documents they were considering.
I knew you couldn't be honest. The reason was because a jury would be sympathetic to a kindly old man with memory issues.

Haha that’s not why he was charged. That blip only briefly discussed one difference in the cases

Not why he wasn’t charged for willfully disclosing and stealing classified material

I was just reading up on Ponzi and Bernie Madoff and others who were charged. But got off. As happened to Biden. Trump should also get off.

Same happened for the man you defend. Biden is guilty. But the way it works, he got off. Trump will as well.

False equivalence.

The charges for Trump are different.

For 1 obstruction of justice

2. Lying to investigators

3. The espionage act (not applicable to Biden.)

You will sooner than later come to terms how these things actually work. Biden is not prosecuted and Trump won't be found guilty. Biden's lack of prosecution helped Trump a lot.
