A. It was a necessity for U.S. Security, Persian Gulf Security, and Global Security that SADDAM HUSSIEN be removed from power in Iraq. Saddam in the 24 years prior to his removal from power in 2003 had started multiple wars, engaged in actions that led to the deaths of 1.7 million people, threatened the world's key energy supplies with seizure and sabotage, supported terrorism, used weapons of mass destruction on a massive scale, annexed another independent country, the first time that happened since Hitler did it in the 1940s.

B. The cost of removing Saddam pales in comparison to the cost of the prior 24 years of Saddam being in power and no doubt the cost the world would endure from another 24 years of rule by his regime, either directly by him or followed on by members of his family.

C. Since 2003, the best estimates show that 200,000 civilians have died in Iraq, most of them at the hands of terrorist. Far more Iraqi's died of violent deaths while SADDAM was in power than after he was removed. The estimate of 1 million Iraqi's dead since 2003 is grossly inaccurate and is based on flawed estimates using flawed techniques.

D. The problems in Iraq post-Saddam were largely contained to Iraq. The Arab spring did not spring from troubles in Iraq in early 2011. Iraq was calm in early 2011 and not apart of the violence seen with the Arab Spring. So linking the violence across the middle east arising from the Arab Spring to Iraq is simply false and inaccurate.

E. The United States in terms of military and reconstruction spending since 2001, as a percentage of GDP, was lower than what the United States was spending on the military during the peacetime of the 1980s, as a percentage of GDP.

F. Joe Biden does not have flawless record, but he was right about removing SADDAM from power. Only an idiot would want Saddam back in power in Iraq in 2020.

G. The death from violence rate has dropped heavily in Iraq in 2020. With only two months to go in 2020, 774 people have been killed by violence in Iraq. This is about the same as the number of people who have been murdered in Chicago in 2020, 643 people. Iraq is a country of 40 million people, while Chicago is a city of 2.7 million people. So the death rate in 2020 from violence in Chicago is FAR higher than the death rate from violence in Iraq.

H. Donald Trump after nearly 4 years in office has kept U.S. troops in Iraq instead of withdrawing following the example set by previous Presidents as opposed to what he claimed he wanted to do in withdrawing them.
