While Nazis, Soviets, and the British Empire all killed a lot of people, each were a different sort of economy, one being a Fascist system, one a Communist system, and another a Capitalist system.
What each of these share in common is they were very militaristic / having huge military.
On the inverse, plenty of W. European nations today have "Big Government" but don't have genocidal mobs looting, and shooting the World, like Sweden, Germany, and others whom are "Social Democracy" for "Big government on healthcare, education etc. but not on big military.
So sorry to say, Republicans got it wrong, it's THEIR OWN ideals of "Big military" rather than "Giving people healthcare"
that is the pretext to genocide..
