I also feel for victims excluded due to statute of limitations.

It seems the conviction was used for appeasement to compensate for cases not prosecuted. All politicized and nothing changes or done to help or stop victims of rape or trafficking that exceed the capacity of courts to address.

Does saying it 40 years later make it less true? I agree that its not the best time to do it, and those claims should be met with some skepticism, but when there are a million fucking girls saying it, there is clearly a problem.

The problem could be, that middle aged women, (or older) looking back at their trampy, drug abusing years, kind of like the idea of getting even with a man that "took advantage" of them back when they were young and hot.

ANd with a little...sloppy word choice, what they used to think was just them trading sex for roles, now, is magically rewritten and instead of being tramps, they are VICTIMS, with all the social status that comes with it, today.

That isnt the story im hearing from women. Also, if they were so ashamed of it, there wouldnt be much of a good reason to publicly mention it.

EVery time I see them reveal the details, it turns out that they are using vague language, ie "giving them drugs" or "illegally", to give a FALSE impression that he "drugged them" without their knowledge or consent.


And no one is claiming that providing drugs or alcohol means that they are obligated to have sex.


The stories, that I have seen so far, look like a consensual exchange, sex for help with careers.


THe drugs, were either just for the women's enjoyment or just how they dealt emotionally with their exchange of sex for favors.


Bill Cosby had the nerve to state that the problems of black communities might be, at least partially their own fault and/or their own responsibility to fix.

Because of that, he had to be made an example of. That is what this is about.

Sorry but having sex in exchange for professional promotion is a form of Trafficking.

This is still coercive.

The drugs make it worse.

These women should never have been alone with someone who doesn't respect them or their sex.

The courts should not have been abused either.

All these complainants should have been required to go through counseling and work out their personal and professional issues.

This is horrible.

The whole thing which exceeds the capacity of courts to address.

The real victims are the young women that wanted to be actresses, but were NOT willing to exchange sex for roles. They are the ones that were there, auditioning for roles, and not getting them, while Bill Cosby, and men like him, were pulling strings for the girls that were willing to play ball.


When women engage in such transactions, they are benefitting at the expense of the woman that WOULD HAVE GOT THE JOB, if it was just merit based.

It makes a huge difference in today's culture, everyone wants the spotlight and everyone likes getting paid. Juries today love punishing successful people, it's the culture we live in. If someone waited 40 years to pipe up in my opinion, whatever happened to a person must have not been that serious to begin with

You never see 60 women randomly accuse a guy of rape though. Cosby is literally one of the most prolific serial rapists our country has ever seen. His numbers are staggering.
