Bitter, Frustrated, Impotent House Of Reps

The democrat House Speaker has to literally dodge living and dead constituents and shit on the streets

The shit on the streets is starting a disease epidemic that will become massive!

It gets hosed off the sidewalk & into storm drains which put it in every pond, lake, river & stream...Soon the death will be unimaginable!
In San Francisco the storm drains run right to the ocean. Right along the shore, the beaches the sea life all fouled and poisoned.

Oh Lord ... the House was any better under Republicans ... pleeeeeeeeeease ...
It sure WAS, Sparky. Have a drink on me, it sounds like you're well on your way to a good drunk, ya knucklehead!

Ha! A predictable answer by an easily manipulated, hyper-partisan ideologue.
Fiscally, they both suck.
U.S. Federal Deficits, Presidents, and Congress
Ever since polarization have dominated politics in Washington by both parties, nothing good gets done.
Unfortunately, pragmatic thinking is a non-essential is the life hacks. It is so much easier to have talking heads with alternative fact talking points direct your life. That way, you don't have to think. :happy-1:

It just goes from bad to worse for Pelosi and the Hysterical House Dems, and they keep doing the same petulant silliness over and over. Pelosi will be remembered as the weakest Dem of all time.
Congrats Nancy. :cheers2:

The resolution to limit Trump's war powers is nothing but an empty political gesture
I’m all for Congress regaining its constitutional role regarding war and trade.

However, the approval by President Donald Trump of the targeted killing of Qasem Soleimani, head of the Iranian Quds Force, isn’t an example of presidential usurpation of Congress’ power to decide when to engage in combat.

Instead, it was a tactical battlefield decision in a military engagement clearly authorized by Congress, and it fell fully within the president’s authority as commander in chief.

Instead of demonstrating a long overdue reassertion of its constitutional right, and duty, to declare war, the War Powers Resolution passed by the House and being considered by the Senate in response to the Soleimani killing further illustrates the unseriousness of Congress. It’s a political exercise, not a true reinvigoration of the separation of powers.
Irrelevant and meaningless since the Soleimani killing didn't involve an act of war. There has been no formal declaration of war by our side. Won't it be funny now if at some future date a democrat president NEEDS to act in a timely fashion and is now blocked by Pelosi's own bill? :21:

Pelosi's non binding resolution's only accomplishments were to kill a few trees and waste time and money.

Trump should tear a copy up and blow his nose on it at his campaign rally.

Can't be … the resolution is non-binding and cannot become law. That was the author's point … that like every other Dem hissy-fit of the last 3 years, this one was a mix of kabuki theater and bitter, petulant frustration.

Besides, given their childish actions the next Dem POTUS may not yet have been born.

There is a silver lining ... my San Fran daughter and new hubby are moving to N. Carolina to start a fam. I've begged her for years to GTF out of that dump. Even better, another daughter and her soon-to-be new hubby plan to settle in S.Carolina so they will be about 5 hrs apart. I'm now looking for a beach house in between. BOOM!!!

You're from Minneapolis, eh? Isn't that where the air is so clean that the voters actually elected Ilhan Omar to congress? That kind of thinking?
:laughing0301:

I think AOC may be looking for a new job when her angry constituents vote her out next November. I'm all broke up. :iyfyus.jpg:

I guess she'll have to go back to waitressing.

No, if Hillary wants it, she will just have Chuckie Schumer "Arkancided" so AOC can take his Senate seat!
I thought Hillary was determined to be an ex-patriate in the country of Ireland where she has secured a top job in the Irish gummint and won't have to answer for her crimes here. :coffee:

Democrats are angry that Trump killed a terorrist. Championing Iran for "not" shooting down a civilian airliner and letting dozens of people get trampled to death.
"Death to America!"
The Iranian government and democrats seem to have found a fundamental agreement.
A documentary on the Dark Ages explained that life really sucked but "fortunately" people died young. Life is cheap in desert cultures because it also sucks bigly.

To democrats the empty gesture is the act itself. Trump has been impeached. Now that they voted, nothing more need be done. The anti Trump resolution passed as non binding. Democrats will still say that Trump cannot act. Truth simply doesn't matter.

That or he could use a photo of Nancy to wipe some other party of his body. Either works for me.

Yeah … Pelosi has been trumpeting that "Trump is impeached forever" silliness.

Like the Dem's Mindless Minions, life for her is all about trashing what has been a very successful POTUS because we has been so successful (and because they can't beat him in Nov).

Democrats are whiny, sniveling, petulant traitors … every stinkin' one of 'em (except Tulsi but only 'cause she's cute).

Pelosi-faced toilet paper! It would be a bigger winner than she is!

Hell, Adam Schiff t-paper would sell just as well.

Your post made me think of whales that beach themselves from time to time, and no one knows why. Some say it's because man has made a mess of the oceans with thousands of square miles of plastic floaties covering central areas mainlanders may not know about:
One possible reason given by marine biologists and scientists as to why whales may be beaching themselves more frequently is that increases in man-made materials and chemicals is causing greater pollution in the ocean which can lead to marine mammals being born deformed, mentally impairing otherwise healthy whales and poisoning or causing death to marine mammals as a result of poisonous chemicals. Why Do Whales Beach Themselves?

They have taken a path of anger, lies, and wickedness, so they will be given over to an irrational mind. This is a promise to those who practice deceit, lie and defraud people and traffic in iniquity.

I hsve news, the Senate has done shit. They are the ones perceived as Trump flacid ass kissers. McConnell has ceded all; Senate authority to Trump.

Republicans in the Senate have proven to be a bunch of limp dicks with no courage to do what is right for America.
