They went there on Jan. 6 because Trump held the rally. Trump would have marched with them to the Capital building but the Secret Service wouldn't allow it. Trump would have confronted Congress in person to stop the certification if he HAD gone there. That son of a bitch wanted to strong arm Congress in person just like other third world dictators have done to hold onto power.
