BREAKING: Rezaeian and 3 others released in Iran

Yup....if you need a pussy nation to make look foolish, just pick on America while a Democrat is in charge.

Doesn't matter that we could vaporize these scumbags in a microsecond......we're harmless to anyone who wants to blackmail us.

Won't be long and Iran will be shutting down the Persian Gulf and holding Middle East oil hostage.

Now go back to your laughing.

That's quite a fantasy you've built for yourself. You do know that Kerry and Zarif were shouting at each other, right? Or did your choice of source not let you in on that?

Why would we want to vaporize this?

Buddy, you must be dumb as a stump. Iran has been showing their hand for years:

Iranian Admiral Habibollah Sayyari says it would be "very easy" for his navy to shut down the Strait of Hormuz

Since it doesn’t have nuclear weapons yet, Iran is playing the lone trump card in its hand: threatening to shut down the Strait of Hormuz through which Persian Gulf oil flows to fuel much of the world’s economy. Iranian navy chief Admiral Habibollah Sayyari told state television Wednesday that it would be “very easy” for his forces to shut down the chokepoint. “Iran has comprehensive control over the strategic waterway,” he said as his vessels continued a 10-day exercise near the strait.
But just how good a trump card is it?
“Iran has constructed a navy with considerable asymmetric and other capabilities designed specifically to be used in an integrated way to conduct area denial operations in the Persian Gulf and SoH, and they routinely exercise these capabilities and issue statements of intent to use them,” Jonathan Schroden writes in a recent report for the Pentagon-funded Center for Naval Analyses. “This combination of capabilities and expressed intent does present a credible threat to international shipping in the Strait.”

And?

:deal: To put it plainly........you've been pwned.

You can go now. :muahaha:

What's the matter, can't even explain your off topic point?

Nope......but it's amazing just how lousy you are at playing dumb.

Yep, I'm bad at playing dumb but I'm trying to learn from you.

Now, for the last time, you are attempting to make a point, as off topic as it is, please, try to explain it.

How do Obama and Kerry get any credit for this release ?
Diplomacy -
Does "Diplomacy" usually cost $150 billion?

Imagine the Hell Iran can raise with those numbers.
The $150 Billion is Iran's money.
Who'd they steal it from?
Do you get some kind of weird thrill by playing the idiot?

Thankfully for him breathing is an innate behavior.

Cruz and Rubio are denouncing the deal. No doubt, all the Right Wing candidates will appear and say the same things.
They're sticking to the deal they made 7 years ago to deny the Obama Administration anything.

That's what you see? Let me clue you in, at least two posters in this thread agree, you're not very smart. You have been unable to demonstrate anything resembling a relevant point in this thread.

The feeling is mutual.
Remember what Barack said about your country?

"Iran, Cuba, Venezuela, these countries are tiny compared to the Soviet Union. They don't pose a serious threat to us the way the Soviet Union posed a threat to us,” Obama said.Amanda Carpenter - Obama: Iran is Just a Tiny Country

No, denouncing it now is sour grapes. We've already paid for it.

I'm wondering when the next hostage situation will rear it's ugly head.

Wondering or hoping?

And neither one of these recent releases was a "hostage situation".

That's an opinion......and opinions are like assholes.

Everyone has one.

What do you call paying blackmail money in exchange for somebody that has been taken prisoner?

Nope....you're the idiot. Not me.

You need to learn to focus. I'm not gonna rehash legitimate issues I brought up during this exchange.

so true dillduck-------its like praising a six year old kid for managing to tie his shoelaces

Halliburton stock values will plunge now that the opportunity to attack another country has been reduced....unless....another Republican is elected President. Then another excuse for was will be formulated.

Which president pretty much created Halliburton, old man? I'll give you two hints, Brown-Root and the Vietnam War

And DICK has profited greatly!

DICK resigned from Halliburton many years ago and gave millions of dollars in stock options to CHARITY.
