Instead of arming teachers, why don't we use this money to train teachers to look out for students who are troubled. Students who show signs of disconnect and perhaps mental deficiencies. That kid gave so many warning signs and yet nobody gave a damn......And reach these kids before they grab guns......for every problem in this nation, there are sensible solutions....the question then becomes, are we ready and willing to address them? Police are investigating reports of a shooting at a high school in southern Maryland, according to Scripps station WMAR in Baltimore.

According to WMAR, three people have been shot, one of which was the gunman. The gunman was reportedly a student at the school. A sheriff's spokesperson also confirmed the report to the Associated Press.

A spokeswoman with the Sheriff's office, Julie Yingling, says there were no fatalities, and has not released the severity of the injuries for the three people shot. Yingling says she does not know how the shooter was injured, and all three people have been taken to area hospitals.
