Are you saying Trump would persecute his political enemies?
Like in a bannana republic?

Prosecuting Trump for REAL crimes is a bit different than an incompetent goon like Trump abusing the powers of his office for retribution against those who held him accountable. What's wrong with that? You are OK with Biden doing it!
This trial will be over quickly.Looks like a win Trump here. The goal is no verdict before Election Day, and they should be able to slow this down.
May 2024 IS a continuance.I'm sure Trump will ask for and receive a continuance... and we will watch dems heads explode.... live and in color...
They timed it perfectly. This will benefit Trump greatly.
And maybe explain the "benefit" to Trump to have this, one of multiple criminal trials on his plate, scheduled for six months before election. Can you explain who “they” is?

There isn't much leeway for excessive delays to be granted. Judge Canon knows she is on a pretty short leash as far as the appearance of deferential treatment for team Trump. Its perfect !
Now everybody will get to see all the overwhelming evidence of Trump's guilt.
Trump is fucked
Trump is going to postpone the trial because he can;t risk looking that bad during the campaign
Lets hope !There isn't much leeway for excessive delays to be granted. Judge Canon knows she is on a pretty short leash as far as the appearance of deferential treatment for team Trump.
If it begins to appear that she is just doing Trump's bidding the prosecution will just appeal to The 11th Circuit Court to have her replaced and based upon the previous precedent she set earlier in the investigation it would most likely be granted.
