Brown the Governor of California

Well at least we know CA couldn't be bought by someone who merely wanted to use the state as a stepping stone to the Presidency.

It will be a cold day in hell when California balances its budget.

What is California's deficit? I think it will only be the tip if the iceberg when all is said and done in that state.

What does it say the the citizens of California put the brakes on his ability to raise property taxes?

Progressives love decline.

Whitman said it herself, she moved to California 30 years ago, beccause it was a great place to live. Brown was governor then.

Who had Prop 13 passed against his will to prevent him from doing more damage.

Brown? What damage? Brown had one of the largest budget surpluses of any governor in CA. The Returds rammed Prop13 through, and disolved the $5 billion within a year. Nice going republicans!!!

I don't care, he was still governor. Says a lot. :eusa_whistle:

Actually, that was the start of the problems when he was gov. He came in with a surplus and left it with a deficit. They never recovered from it.
