First of all, this was reported on both Fox AND CNN!

Second, the bus driver is a stupid jerk and deserved to get his face bashed in!

I drove a city bus here in Las Vegas and am speaking from experience. A driver NEVER leaves his seat except to assist a handicapped passenger, one suffering from a severe incident, or during a scheduled break.

And then, he physically touched the black! Stupid. Dumb. Ignorant. By pushing him, he open himself to retaliation.

What would I have done?

Simple. What I did on more than one occasion -- and one that happened when I [a white guy] was driving a route in the mostly black section of town. A black man wanted to enter the bus without paying. I could not permit that and simply explained that, if he came aboard without paying, I could not move the bus. He ranted and raved and I sat there with both hands on the steering wheel.

After about 5 minutes, three very big black dudes sitting in the back of the bus, got up, came up front, and carried the guy off the bus - telling him that if he got back on it would be to go to the hospital for a broken arm or leg.

We continued on the route immediately thereafter.
