California first state to ban natural gas heaters and furnaces

Natural Gas and Liquefied Petroleum Gas are the best forms of heat energy. Far less a problem than electrical generation using COAL... We even use them to generate electricity. What a bunch of idiots...

You really have to marvel at the stupidity and then the next day they top themselves again.

I don't get it. How in the hell do they plan to warm themselves when they are cold?

Especially as NG is cheap, efficient, non-poluting and plentiful.

The Founders never intended the government telling people how they can and cannot heat their homes, especially as the logical alternative to gas heating is ELECTRIC! Not only much more costly but the one thing they have in short supply!

Those blithering idiots have been fleeing California for decades, taking over and infecting other states. Oregon is now lost. Washington is lost. Hordes of California morons took over. Colorado is on life support. Montana is faltering. Every place Californians migrate to turns to shit.

They flee they're own disaster to create new disasters

As noted, if they were throwing in modular reactors left and right, this would be a good thing. But I don't see it.

Of course not. Providing adequate electricity for all the residents is not the goal for California. They want to control the electricity, so that only DemoKKKrat loyalists can get it. This is Auth Left 101.

The biggest battery power storage in the world is in Monterey, Ca.
New units are installed all over. Don't get so dumbed out. Forward looking is the key.

Here is the plant in East Ventura (Saticoy) Units like this are all over the place in CA. Some are totally eliminating peaker plants.

142 Tesla units along the Santa Clara riverbed in Ventura.

Congratulations. California is simultaneously (1) driving up costs for millions of low-income Californians & (2) hurting the environment (nat gas emits far less than coal-powered electricity).

'Changing America' seems like a far-left greenie site and is so ridiculous it defies explanation. I only hope that Gavin Nuisance and his fellow Marxists are shown the door soon by sensible CA voters.

By the way, many homes have very inefficient and old gas furnaces. Many need replacing and not only in California. Out with the old and in with the new. If you fall behind, it's not that you are tied to fossil fuels, it's because you don't look forward.
