here in missouri there isnt a economic standard to get subsidies,,Socialists are usually greenies too
And if so they like solar when taxpayer foot part of their bill
But low income citizens get no subsidies so solar is only for the rich
Which is counter intuitive for the lib brain
agreed,,
but I would like to see the energy companies paying some or most of the bill,,
there are to many logical applications to say its all a scam like so many insist on doing,,
The biggest subsidy is the federal tax credithere in missouri there isnt a economic standard to get subsidies,,
they are the same for everyone,,
next thing youre going to tell me is rich people pay lower tax rate than poor people,,
theyre the ones really benefitting from it,,That doesn't make sense. Why would energy companies pay the bill? That's like saying when you order room service at a hotel, the hotel should pay for it.
they still have the same access as the rest of us,,The biggest subsidy is the federal tax credit
The same deal that EVs get
And that does not help the low incomes
How to you give a tax credit to low income households that dont pay federal taxes?they still have the same access as the rest of us,,
you can thank democrats and republicans for that conundrum,,How to you give a tax credit to low income households that dont pay federal taxes?
theyre the ones really benefitting from it,,
less wear and rear on their main systems along with reduced fuel costs to run them,,
and would pretty much end peak overload shutdowns and rolling blackouts,,
for the consumer it takes decades to recoup the costs,,
I dont believe you,,There's no benefit to the utility companies. They would be replacing one system that requires maintenance with another system that requires maintenance. And the replacement cost would be enormous.
I dont believe you,,
maintenance on solar panels amounts to a hose and scrub brush,,
the home owner can do that,,
and yet you cant explain what I got wrong,,,I see you know very little about these systems. That explains your overly simplistic view of the whole issue.
Good luck with that.
and yet you cant explain what I got wrong,,,
well for one I am not talking about large solar fields,,,You're WAY underestimating the costs of maintenance and installation of large solar fields.
Do a little research.
I'd like to see more rooftop solar on multi-family rental properties (large and small apartment complexes), with tenants paying increased rent to cover the cost of installation and maintenance of the panels. Then, their electric bills will be lower. Same with hotels, with increased rates to cover the costs.
I bet you had to work on wording that to take it completely out of context,,Ultimately it's a wash. They call it renewable completely ignoring the fact that the machinery degrades and needs to be replaced. So instead of consuming hydrocarbon you're consuming silica products. I don't know how that stacks up on cost comparison. I do know that the laws of thermodynamics preclude anything that's truly renewable because there's always some form of consumption.
The consumer/electric company customers are paying the costs via added rates to their bill.theyre the ones really benefitting from it,,
less wear and rear on their main systems along with reduced fuel costs to run them,,
and would pretty much end peak overload shutdowns and rolling blackouts,,
for the consumer it takes decades to recoup the costs,,
around here our bills didnt go up with solar,, they went down,,The consumer/electric company customers are paying the costs via added rates to their bill.
Did you flunk basic economics ole wise one?
well for one I am not talking about large solar fields,,,
and you still havent said what I got wrong,,
I just had a system priced for my house and according to them comes with a 30 yr warranty and the only maintenance is keeping the panels clean,,
what did I get wrong??
