Let's just roll all these black holidays into one day and stop wasting everyone's time.No it doesn't. Lincoln was assassinated on April 15th, 1865. Not June 19th, 1865. And, this is a thing that happened in Texas. Emancipation took place in January 1, 1963. The news had not gotten to Texas yet. So, let Texas worship it.
