But before that I was enraged he'd laid out an air-tight case for her indictment for numerous felonies and then did nothing. Now he's after Trump and has been for 8 months it turns out. And Hilly's people are furious that investigation wasn't disclosed when her's was. There is no connection between Trump and Russia and everybody in the intel community knows it...this is all a media-driven farce. Yet it will hurt Trump's efforts to keep American companies from leaving for foreign shores if those CEOs don't believe he has the power to stop them. When you have a linked series of fiascos like in the last year of presidential politics, there is always a common element in each of them. Comey is playing King-maker, and King-breaker and he's gotten away with it because nobody has stopped him. What are we waiting for?

His ego is large and he thinks his shit smell sweet. It goes back to W's warrantless spying on regular citizens. That may have been wrong; I'd say it was. But until a court told W to stop, it remained the potus's call. But Comey saw fit to be the "balls and strikes caller." It wasn't his fault Slick decided that meeting with the AJ was just being chummy, and when Lynch recused it fell to Comey to decide whether to prosecute Hillary. In retrospect, Lynch resigning would have been preferable .... but who coulda known.

Then he comes out and lays his "oh so valuable moral certitude and credibility" on the line and says there's not a prosecutable case. Then, come November, he's somehow concerned that his superior moral code may have give Hillary the veneer of honesty? Not hardly. But he had to make sure everyone knew he wasn't giving her the seal of his yuuuge approval.

Now Trump chimes in with a ludicrous and easily disproved (to all but the Trumpbots) that Obama personally and without a warrant ordered Wonderful Doanld's golden tweeter tapped. Comey is appalled his most moral certitude is sullied.
