In an odd way, Democratic Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota emerged from Tuesday’s vice-presidential debate looking better than ever.

After all, Walz proved that he cannot regurgitate lies as skillfully as many other establishment politicians, including his party’s presidential nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris.

For that reason, the professional liars at CNN had to concede that Walz got his clock cleaned by Republican Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio, former President Donald Trump’s running mate for the forthcoming presidential election.

In a panel discussion following the debate, CNN’s Abby Phillip, Dana Bash and Jake Tapper agreed that Walz looked outclassed.

BJ-

Everyone saw that Vance had the stronger performance.

12 years of Republican Presidential presence was authored last night.

Meanwhile, the liberals smile about how Walz won the independents.

We're pleased.

The right is hysterical. They act like they're trying to convince themselves they did well, and not succeeding.

You guys are crazy. JD Vance lied for the entire debate and you call that a strong performance. He lost when he could not say that trump lost the election. But before that he told a lie about trump saving Obamacare. Lying with certainty or confidence is not good debating. And it is funny how CNN is now the experts on debates to you scum when all the while you guys have dissed anything and everything CNN.

Polls can be manipulated.....easily
Democrats have outperforming polls bigly in most recent elections.

Who's been manipulating the polls to favor Republicans? You sound as if you're familiar with the practice of poll rigging, so I thought you might know.

Vance earned points with me. Actually I wouldn't mind if he was on top of the ticket
Vance has the ability to one day run on the top part of the ticket. This endless having to go up against Progressive Socialist Communist moderators is almost not worth having debates. Integrity left the media/entertainment industry many years ago.

Since 2000, there have been sizable increases in the shares of both Republicans and Republican-leaning independents who identify as conservative. Today, more Republican-leaning independents describe themselves as conservatives (51%) than as moderates (39%) or liberals (8%). In 2000, GOP leaners included almost identical shares of conservatives (42%) and moderates (43%); 11% described their views as liberal.
