I am very far left, and dislike Trump, but both discussions of impeachment are/were insane.
Congress clearly deserved to be occupied, for its constant violation of law and deliberate fraud.
For example, lying about WMD and murdering innocent Iraqis, the war on drugs which is totally illegal, 3 strikes laws in violation of the Bill of Rights, etc.

We need to occupy Congress much MORE often, at least once a year, to remind them who they work for.
And the cop who shot Ashli need to be in jail.

We need to remove the influence of the wealthy, who control the illegal 2 party system, and the media, and open up elections to all parties with a single simultaneous, open election with ranking to avoid the need for a run off. And spending should be limited to fixed and uniform public amount. That will reduce the illegal influence the wealthy have over the whole corrupt system.

House impeachment will not do that. There are not enough do-what-is-right Republicans in the Senate to convict. They will do what is politically good for them and giving Trump the boot will stir their crazy base against them.

We agree on something. The end times must be upon us. Complete waste of time and effort. All the momentum is on your side and more and more Republicans are abandoning him by the hour. Take away his toys, limit the damage he can do to pardons, and let him stew in the WH for the next 13 days in his shame and embarrassment. After he's gone, let the legal system deal with him.

The president, no matter how much or little time he has, no matter who has abandoned him, or still stand by his side. He is still the president. He is commander in chief and can deploy the army, navy, airforce, marines, and the space force. He has sole authority to deploy nuclear weapons, and he holds the awesome pardon power of the office.

Trump doesn't need the justice department to issue pardons. Early presidents hand wrote their pardons. So Trump could scrawl out badly worded but legally binding pardons until his last minute in office.

That is VERY wrong.
Trump has connected with people more than any president ever, so is the most representative.
I am totally opposite of Trump on every issue, but he is far closer to what the majority actually believe, than any other candidate.
And as far as attacking congress, more power to them. Congress sucks and should all be in jail. There is not a bigger bunch of criminals in the entire world. Everything they say and do is a lie.
We could easily have had public health care, just like all other countries, a century ago. We do not need to have an illegal War on Drugs. We should not have troops illegally in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, etc.
There is not a single person in Congress who should not be arrested for their continual crimes.
