I am not sure a requirement for grandfathered weapons to be registered has ever been tested in court, though. That is what is at issue here.

Connecticut doesn't have the prison space to lock up the thousands of felons they just made by enacting the law.
No matter what happens ... It is screwed up either way ... Even if they do try to confiscate the weapons because the owners are still felons under the law.

Employers aren't going to hold their jobs while they do a stint in the Federal Penitentiary ... Not to mention jobs that convicted felons are not allowed to posses.

Isn't Article V of the Constitution (the Amendment process) supposed to be the ANSWER to this issue? If the Government Agents don't like the Second Amendment, then use Article V to repeal it.
