The Northern California Bay Area where I live has got them beat and volunteers here picked up 100 tons of trash.

good for them... I did a beach clean up with surfrider a little while ago. Cleared a ton of trash on the Texas coastline and we got no media coverage either!!! So
Messed up.... I feel you pain!!!
