Conservatives are unembarrassed by a history of being wrong

Open borders do not exist. They did not exist during Obama, they did not exist before that. So the issue is not open borders. Understand that first before you post.

Catch/Release IS open borders. Because people are let loose to roam and never report for court dates. Then they get warrants against them for non-appearance and not providing address updates to ICE. Which magnifies their border crash misdemeanor into multiple felonies. Not good for them, terrible for America. How the fuck you think we GOT 11 to 15Mill illegals here since the last amnesty?

And catch/release and all the 3X that that we don't even CATCH is open borders and has existed for DECADES.

Was Hillary right when she suggested we send all the unescorted kids back home to their parents?

No -- YOU Understand that before you post. You have any idea who the guy in the tee shirt is? Do I need to tell you or translate the message on the shirt? Click the spoiler if I've stumped you.

They believe in providing a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants, especially those who were brought here as children. They wish to greatly reform the current immigration laws, stating that “today’s immigration laws do not reflect our values or serve our security, and we will work for real reform.

You SURE about this? Because when they are IN CHARGE, they sure don't cater to open borders and unlimited border crashing..

You conservatives are the ones saying that democrats are for unlimited open borders. I stated democrats weren't and got called bonjangles. So try going beyond one paragraph the next time..

If you're not for open borders when your team is at the plate, what is the problem with ending catch/release and idiotic notions like the VISA lottery? Do you think it's fair to be suddenly, selectively irate and hysterical about children at the border when your "smartest woman in America" suggested sending them all home (after the Obama Admin allowed 100,000 or more orphans to come in) to their parents in 2014?

THIS -- is why I won't support EITHER party. They are BOTH playing power games. And they HAVE no principles, or scruples on damn near ANY issue.. And it reeks of clueless hypocrisy and callousness on BOTH sides of issues like this. Same with foreign policy. Same with the budget/deficit.

Stuff it Jethro. Take yo nigg*a ass back to the bush. You are a lazy, hate filled piece of shit. As a Conservative the ONLY thing that embarrasses me is you calling yourself an American Nobody ever owned you, you were never a slave and the fact the you are appropriating the culture of those that were makes you one more dumbass nigg*a. You are a disgrace to hard working blacks everywhere.

Is this proper behavior flacaltenn? Is this not a personal attack? These aren't racial slurs?

You read this and it's still here. Funny how that happens.

I don't handle every report. And it looks more than well handled to me. There's 9 of us.

In 2013 the senate passed a immigration reform bill. Speaker John Boehner refused to bring it up for a vote in the house. We could have had a solution to this 5 years ago if not for conservative republicans

Didn't have a chance since it did NOTHING actually curb border crashing and called for massive AMNESTIES. When you go to fix the plumbing, FIRST thing you do is turn off the water.

"Obama was the only president in history that did not preside over a single year of 3% GDP growth. Trump has already smashed that."

Obama had 9 quarters of at least 3 percent GDP, even as he inherited a dead economy. And of course he had a congress that for 6 years of his presidency refused to help.

Obama had 9 quarters of at least 3 percent GDP,

9 quarters? Wow! And all it cost was $9.3 trillion in new debt.
Nah, much of that was the cost of Bush’s Great Recession.

The recession ended in June 2009.
So? The cost to our economy persisted beyond that date. Jobs were still being lost during the remainder of that year. Ultimately about 9 million jobs were lost from Bush’s Great Recession and it took about 4 years just to break even. That’s 6 years of lost revenue. Trillions of dollars lost in the housing markets, more lost revenue. Another trillion to keep the economy afloat.

Much of the debt under Obama was derectly due the the collapsed economy Bush handed him.

The cost to our economy persisted beyond that date. Jobs were still being lost during the remainder of that year.

Absolutely.
And what did Obama do to encourage business?
Was it his increased regulations?
According to the right, all a president has to do to spur growth is to show up, like Trump.

It worked for Obama....

I know who Keith Ellison is. But there are no open borders. Unless you're talking about the northern one. Or maybe the eastern one. Perhaps Trump can build a wall along the Atlantic and have the EU pay for it. Or the pacific coastline wall paid for by North Korea..

What was Obama's average growth in GDP?

Would he have had more growth if he added even more regulations?
What about cap & trade? Would that have given him a year of +3%?

Despite $9.3 trillion in new debt and all those new jobs we got "slightly more"?
Weird, Obama must have done something wrong.

In general the red states are doing better economically than the blue states. Sorry.

Best-Run States Are Heavily Republican, Study Finds | Investor's Business Daily

The ten most financially sound states in the country are all heavily Republican, while all but one of the ten worst states are heavily Democratic. /QUOTE]

In the top 10, almost all of them are Oil Producing states. Only one is not and that is Tennessee who has a robust factory production going for them. I do have to question the whole thing. I find one thing completely incorrect. It shows Kansas as the same level as Colorado. Not even close. Colorado has a robust economy while Kansas doesn't even know where they are going to get the money to keep their streets paved or the Teachers paid. But Kansases woes are not done by the various businesses or workers. It's brought on by the State Government that decided to outdo Trumps cut taxes and lowered the taxes on corporations and rich until they can no longer pay the state's bills. But the Corporations and Rich are doing much better even if the potholes, bridges and students are getting worse off. The Graph really doesn't mean a thing since it doesn't factor it a lot of the important factors.

Not to anyone's surprise, the Mercatus Center that did the study is about as Red as you can get. It's fully supported by the Koche Brothers Foundation and if it didn't report like it does the funding would dry up. In other words, the study is suspect.

Usually, after a recession, we get a big bounce back. Several quarters of really decent growth.
Obama never had that, even though the recession ended in June 2009.
He must have done something wrong.

Real Gross Domestic Product

Poor Obama, had -5.4% GDP in Q1 2009 and -0.5% GDP in Q2 2009, whines like he suffered through an 8 year depression.

Maybe if he passed cap and trade instead of Obamacare we'd have had a depression?
If only he added 100,000 more pages of regulations, he'd have had a year of over 3% growth, eh?

I knew once Obama left office and the GOP passed this pathetic tax bill, it was over for this party. And God forbid should Hillary or Pelosi die tomar, they'd disappear off the earth.
The republican party has never ever ever ran on one single issue that supports or effects the majority of American citizens..with or without a majority. The very best they can do, and have done for decades is gather up all the ignorant whites they can find, house them in gerrymandered districts and put the fear of brown invasion in their sights and run on that shit....and because white people dispite their women trampling after negro meat, still hold onto the fear of being over ruled someday, vote these do nothing but scare me GOP leaders in, and then whine about it later.

Firms that operate in hazardous industries, like electrical contractors and freight truck operators, face looser reporting requirements when their employees get hurt or sick on the job.

9 of the 11 recessions started under Republican presidents.
