You're wrong again. I don't carry any stigma except among those who don't matter anyway, white and other racists.

I actually broached this topic with my newest manager and her response was "ANYONE who believes that the ONLY reason you were hired is because of affirmative action, is not paying attention". She stated to me "you are highly qualified for this position".

We should all be so fortunate to have a manager who not just has confidence in our abilities, but shows appreciation for what we bring to the table on a regular basis.

The airline industry is facing a pilot shortage because a large number of their pilots are reaching mandatory retirement age and they are losing them faster than they can replace them.

Black people have been flying since Bessie Coleman was barnstorming in the south in the early 1900s:

Born to a family of sharecroppers in Texas, Coleman worked in the cotton fields at a young age while also studying in a small segregated school. She attended one term of college at Langston University. Coleman developed an early interest in flying, but African Americans, Native Americans, and women had no flight training opportunities in the United States, so she saved and obtained sponsorships in Chicago to go to France for flight school.​
She then became a high-profile pilot in notoriously dangerous air shows in the United States. She was popularly known as "Queen Bess" and "Brave Bessie",[9] and hoped to start a school for African-American fliers. Coleman died in a plane crash in 1926. Her pioneering role was an inspiration to early pilots and to the African-American and Native American communities.

Nobody is "race baiting" you. It's no one else's fault that you are unable to support your false claim that affirmative action is involved in "admitting and promoting less qualified people...." with any supporting documentation.

Your claim is a bald faced lie and if you have proof that I'm mistaken then POST it.

There are examples

Such as the New Haven Conn fireman’s promotion exam

More than a dozen whites and one hispanic scored high enough to get promoted

But not s single black firemen passed the test

So no one got promoted till the city lost a lawsuit in the USSC
 
I am a retired computer programmer. To get my last job I had to pass a mental aptitude test and another test of my knowledge of computer programming.

On the internet it is easy to claim high distinctions. If a poster's posts are unimpressive, the claims merit skepticism.
What state did you work as a computer programmer in? If that's too personal then what about geographical area.

I'm in WA state and the median salary for a computer programmer is $81/hr. What's your degree in and is there any other type of aptitude test other than mental (serious question)?

All of my questions are because I want to compare my qualifications to yours although I have no idea what race you are, but you're obviously male.

That's one example, and there were problems with that test however rather than address them, they destroyed the results so no one could examine them. What do you think about the destruction of the exams?

Would you be surprised to find out you're completely wrong? You know who the Red Tails are right? They couldn't get jobs flying commercially after they returned to the U.S. at the end of WWII but it would appear that you don't believe they were qualified to be flying either, in spite of the fact that the pilots flying the bombing runs would routinely request them specifically as escorts on their because they had a near spotless record when it came to never losing a plane they were escorting.

Again, this is documented American/African American history that you or anyone else can verify for yourself.
What happened to Negroes in the past has nothing do do with they way they are treated in the present. Because of the race gap in average intelligence it is not possible to create equal results without lowering standards for blacks.

Exactly! This “diversity” crap holds back well-deserving whites - and this case proves it.

I remember the first instance I heard of the unfair treatment of whites in order to advance or hire blacks, more than 40 years ago the local police department in my town announced that 50% of all new hires would be black.

How is THAT not unfair to whites? There were at most 15% blacks in the town.

LOL, no. The problem was that no one other than the original individuals who graded the tests saw them. You don't see a problem whereby you are told that you failed a test yet were refused to see or find out what it was you allegedly got wrong?

On top of being told that you failed the test, then the test results are SEALED? And then DESTROYED? Like I said originally, during that lawsuit the attorneys for the Black firefighters should have filed a motion for spoliation and asked the court to sanction opposing counsel and rule in their (the Black firefighters') favor:

Actually, that isn’t true in all instances. And somehow, you think it’s OK that Jews are now being so attacked and assaulted that we have to HIDE our Jewishness, if we can?

Besides, the point was that Jews, when faced with antisemites who wouldn’t hire them, moved to DC to get jobs with the federal government.

And P.S. The Star of David we wear, or used to before we are getting harassed, was not YELLOW.

When you decide that you will only hire a black for a particular job, you are being racist against whites and Asians. Duh.
Not if the Black candidate is more qualified but I guess in your world there exists no such person right?

I was working a project management job where I asked the agency if they didn't have any females that they could send over for me to interview. They did and I wanted to hire her but I was outvoted by the males, one of whom was the company president.

As far as I was concerned she was perfect BECAUSE she had experience in the language that the legacy system was running on, as did I. None of the guys had this experience so had I simply just accepted the best of the bunch (of males) I would have missed out on the perfect candidate, even though I was overruled as far as bringing her onboard for my project.

The reason you haven’t heard of how the diversity iniatives are lowering the caliber of any given company’s competence is because the leftist channels wouldn't say this,

When you prioritize race over competence, you are not getting the best qualified in 87% of the cases.Simple math: when you exclude 87% of people from consideration for a job because they aren’t black, the odds are 13:87 that you did not hire the most competent

Would you rather fly in a plane piloted by the best they could find, or the best black they could find?
Why do you think during WWII the bombers requested the Red Tails (the Tuskegee Airmen) as their escorts when they could have had their pick of any of white pilots to protect them?
 
There is a reasonably good chance that standards for black pilots have been reduced. That is the way affirmative action works.
