Well, recently, right before the US and Cuba came to their current arrangements the US (once again) tried to incite and overthrow the government. Again.

The Cuban Americans in the US think they are going to get their shit back. It isn't going to happen. The old ones supported Batista the Butcher who was considered a US puppet. The mafia controlled Havana and the US became upset because the elite squad used Cuba as their little playground.

There is no "spread democracy". If you expect the people in the US, especially the alleged left, to give a damn then you are mistaken.

Are Cubans in Cuba happy with their Communism ? Should U.S lift sanctions ?
If you listen to Cuban-Americans, Floridians especially, you would think Cubans are ready to overthrow the Communist Castro regime. But I don't see it that way. I think we should let people exercise their own judgment on which type of government they want and they seem pretty happy with the Old Man Castro....and his brother, Raul. If they want out, they should fight for it just like Casto did in 1959.
