Democracy is difficult, frustrating at times. It can't last. I think, though, that the idea of democracy is tied to basic human instincts as much as greed or lust are. Every one of us wants the boot off our neck and to have their voice heard and respected. So if it retreats now, it will be back.

No surprise in the least.The bankers have ruled the world and have been starting wars for decades. the USA is not the only country thats a facist dictatership which we have been since 1913 and will remain that way till we get off the dollar. the good news is more countries are getting off the dollar pissing off the bankers.countries like afghanistan,Iraq and syria are suffering for not being on the dollar. china and russia are not on the dollar but our corrupt government is smart enough not to try and start a war with them,they cant bully them as they have the other countries i mentioned that could not fight back,.THEY can.
