1. Well....'pinnacle' may be too......optimistic....too positive.
Actually...in a galaxy of iniquity, the current President represents a nadir.

a. Woodrow Wilson, racist, suggested casting off the Constitution

b. Franklin Roosevelt actually did cast off the Constitution.

c. Segregationist and pro-lynching Senator LBJ destroyed the black family.

d. Jimmy Carter actually lectured Americans about their ‘inordinate’ fear of communism, as the Soviet Union and other communist states were neither particularly threatening nor particularly evil.

e. Running for President, Ted Kennedy actually wrote to Moscow to form a pact against Republicans.

f. Bill Clinton...not only a rapist, but a life-long segregationist and racist.

But only the latest in that constellation of corruption, endorsed, condoned, and justified the slaying of the 'thin blue line.'

2. "The Anti-Cop President ...Obama has made a series of irresponsible statements justifying resentment of the police.

3. Any hopes that the nation’s first black president could uplift the nation’s black underclass went up in smoke Sunday when Barack Obama doubled down on his blaming of America’s police for the recent cop massacres ....

4. ....changes in elite culture during the 1960s had a catastrophic effect on the most disadvantaged Americans in ghetto neighborhoods. That decade’s sexual revolution removed the stigma from out-of-wedlock pregnancy. An explosion of inner-city illegitimacy ensued, with between 70 and 90 percent of black children born to single mothers, depending on the city.

5. Elite culture’s wholly praiseworthy political push for black civil rights ended in a destructive turn, with intellectuals arguing that punishing black crime, as one bestseller’s title had it, was “blaming the victim.” In other words, centuries of slavery and Jim Crow, giving way to lingering racial discrimination, made young black men justifiably angry and rebellious, and their anger, along with the barriers the larger society placed between them and gainful employment, resulted in criminal behavior that was understandable and almost justifiable.

6. ...by the early 1990s, murders in New York, for example—mostly by young black men killing other blacks—were occurring on average every four hours, every day."
The Anti-Cop President

Democrats have engaged in one variation after another of treating black Americans differently than other Americans.
Earlier....by slavery and segregation, second class citizenship.

Now...placing them outside the law...it has turned into an equally abhorrent direction.

This current President has taken the ill-conceived revenge for slavery, Jim Crow, segregation, and turned in into an endorsement for hunting down and killing Police.

Unlike the illusory 'War on Women,' the Democrats have instituted a 'War on Police.'

And then there is Hillary Husein Clinton:

7. What happens when society makes 'special rules' for one group or another?

The basic idea that liberal judges and politicians were pushing was that society should be nice to criminals, so they would re-pay us with law-abiding behavior. Ramsey Clark(A progressive, New Frontier liberal Democrat under LBJ):
" The theory of rehabilitation is based on the belief that healthy, rational people will not injure others, that they will understand that the individual and his society are best served by conduct that does not inflict injury, that a just society has the ability to provide health and purpose and opportunity for all its citizens. Rehabilitated, an individual will not have the capacity - cannot bring himself - to injure another or take or destroy property. "

  1. Of course, if that were true, he wouldn’t have committed crimes in the first place.
  2. Despite being insane, the reformers won out. The test of public policy vs. human nature began!
  3. Need empirical evidence? Crime rates skyrocketed. By 1974, the murder rate was over twice that of 1961. Between 1960 and 1976, a citizen’s chances of becoming a victim of a major violent crime tripled. Thomas Sowell, “The Vision of the Anointed: Self-Congratulation as a Basis for Social Policy,” p.27.

The smart set turned American cities into petri dishes for crime and degenerate behavior sans punishment. Thousands died, were raped, disfigured in criminal acts made possible by the Warren Court, the ACLU, liberal professors and activists, and lawyers.

Hence.....
“I'd rather entrust the government of the United States to the first 400 people listed in the Boston telephone directory than to the faculty of Harvard University.” Wm. F. Buckley

8. Jimmy Carter-appointed judge Norma Shapiro “ ... one of the worst offenders among that influential cadre of federal judges who have substituted the ACLU's prisoners' rights wish list for the Bill of Rights and have trifled with public safety concerns. …single-handedly decriminalized property and drug crimes in the City of Brotherly Love….And in the past 18 months alone, 9,732 arrestees, out on the streets on pre-trial release because of her prison cap, were arrested on second charges, including 79 murders, 90 rapes, 701 burglaries, 959 robberies, 1,113 assaults, 2,215 drug offenses and 2,748 thefts….

Activist judges such as Shapiro and Justice assert that prison crowding violates the Eighth Amendment's ban on cruel and unusual punishments. But there is no empirical evidence to substantiate this assertion. In every study of the subject, the widely believed negative effects of crowding - violence, program disruption, health problems and so on - are nowhere in evidence.” Activist Judges Earn Dunce Caps For Their Prison Caps

a. In 1992, black youths were nine times more likely to be murdered than white youths. Liberals lied, black kids died.

b. "There is an activist judge behind each of the most perverse failures of today's justice system: violent offenders serving barely 40 percent of their sentences; 3.5 million criminals, most of them repeat offenders, on the streets on probation and parole; 35 percent of all persons arrested for violent crime on probation, parole or pretrial release at the time of their arrest." (Article cited.)

In one way or another, the Liberal/Democrat perspective results in more victims, more crime, less actual justice.
What could be more logical in this progression than the current iteration...."Murder the Police."

Justice?

Coming up next.

9. David Mamet, in "The Secret Knowledge," explains to Liberals exactly what is wrong with any attempt to bend over backwards, to lean on the scales of justice for or against any particular group:

Should we extend our discussion to Justice….with mitigating factors of one’s childhood, race, or environment?

What weight to extenuation…his supposed goodness to animals or to his mother...? Where is consideration for the needs of the citizenry for protection?
No where: if a jury is influenced by emotion, dramatics, flattery, ‘compassion,’ then laws, which have been decided based on behaviors and not individuals are cast aside by reference to merit, or fairness, or compassion….all of which are inchoate, subjective and nonquantifiable.

It is not the government’s job to determine merit, rather to provide a set of laws that one may expect to be applied without intervention. Laws, under our Constitution, apply not to classes of people, but to classes of actions.

If “fairness” is associated with group-identity, with all of the associated accommodations, law will be reduced to constant petition of government for special and specific exemptions from justice.

Law, to be just, but be written and carried out in ignorance of the identity of its claimants.
David Mamet

Learn this lesson, Obama...and you may turn out to be a better person, and, certainly, a better President.

10. "The same spirit of elite racial contrition made generous welfare payments, with virtually no questions asked, seem like appropriate reparations for the long mistreatment of African Americans. In this way, government ended up enabling the spread of out-of-wedlock childbearing, which the culture had legitimated.

....those fatherless welfare families proved far from ideal for raising successful, law-abiding children. What came to be called the cycle of poverty—single parenthood, school dropout, drug use, crime, non-work, welfare dependency—went into overdrive.

....Obama had a unique opportunity to speak about values and virtues to this minority of African Americans—to tell them that his own life exemplified how in twenty-first century America you could get an education, work hard, get married, be an attentive husband and father, and maybe even become president of the United States. How disappointing that he chose the other tack, stoking grievance and resentment over supposed victimization by all authority, whether from teachers, cops, or potential employers. .

... sniffing out evidences of racism everywhere, and demonizing the police.

Even after five officers were assassinated by an enraged black murderer in Dallas, he said, inaccurately, falsely, and callously: “There are legitimate issues that have been raised, and there’s data and evidence to back up the concerns that are being expressed by these [Black Lives Matter] protesters. "

So he is justifying—even fanning—the resentment that impelled psychopaths to murder two officers in New York, five in Dallas, and now three more in Baton Rouge.

It’s hard not to see his statement as blaming the police for their own deaths, and it’s hard not to condemn such a statement as among the most irresponsible and incendiary presidential utterances in our national history." The Anti-Cop President

Obama: The most irresponsible and incendiary President in our history.
