Democrats 2020 style

should Democrats seek out their own version of Trump to run in 2020? Should they find a bombastic candidate? Someone filled with hyperbole and a casual acquaintance with the truth? A salesman who might lie, but lie in a way Democrats find helpful.

Or should the Democrats go opposite? Someone dignified, beyond reproach with both feet planted firmly on the moral high ground. Someone devoid of drama.

Could such a candidate be heard over the tumult of the Trump Show? Could someone like a no drama candidate be accepted by the electorate with increasingly low brow culture draped across the voting booth?
Anybody has the moral high ground as compared to Trump!
Hillary giggled over the blood soaked panties of a 14 year old rape victim after she got the rapist off. She then cackled over the murder of the leader of Libya after he was sodomized with a knife.
...But why should it be a 'No Drama' candidate?...
Did you read your post I responded to? You posted the question.
...Elections are more about emotions than intellect. Clinton bored everyone so she lost. Love 'em or hate 'em, Trump got people excited - so he won...
You don't understand Trump's victory. He didn't just beat the Democrats, he also beat the GOP Establishment.
...The same goes for just about every election since the 1960s.
What was exciting about LBJ, Nixon, Carter, Papa Bush, or Dubya?

It is sadly clear that political victories mean more than anything else to some. They dismiss loathesome behavior as 'action' lies as 'alternative facts' and boorish, bullying contemptible words as 'shooting from the hip'.

This lets our society slide further down the low brow cultural, slope until we are expected to accept the worst qualities as virtue. There is no nobility, nothing admirable about this renegade wing of American politics. From the very same people who were deeply offended by a president wearing a tan suit, we get Trump.

If your guy could lay down a track record like THE MAN has....I'd say run him.

This is all very interesting but Leftists don't care. None of this falls within their socialist viewpoints and are therefore not worth dealing with.

Well, to be fair, the choice was Crooked Hillary. Trump was probably the only guy that could beat Hillary, and Hillary was probably the person Trump could beat. T'was a perfect storm!
