I stumbled upon this Snopes.com article that said that U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee misspoke when she said that the moon was made of gases, saying that she meant to say the sun instead.

The bizarre thing is, Snopes.com, which is the fact checking rag for the Left, also admitted she referred to the moon as a planet, but completely ignore the obvious question, the sun is really a planet?

It is like a cult. You can tell your cult that aliens will round us all up if a comet passes by if only we drink the Kool Aid as we have seen with cults in the past.
